Travelling party: Seniors

Pool closed. Lake has disappeared and not mentioned by previous reviewer. Been gone for some time as totally dry leaving a small river. Staff good. No soap in washrooms. All clean and hot water. Toilet disposal long walk near Lake. Closing mid November.

Pool closed. Lake has simply disappeared leaving only a small river that is very very low. showers, toilets all good with hot water. Good shop and bar/restaurant open but we did not eat. it seems some politics has drained the lake, the staff here say they do not know what has happened but ignore the lake picture from ACSI as old. water pressure low and toilet disposal some distance away at MH dump point but overall, nice site, large pitches in tree shade and a good stop off point until 6th Nov when closes. unfortunately the lake is the main reason to visit so check it is here before you visit if you intend water sports....

I reviewed this site in 2019. Stayed here again this year (2022) and again a lovely site. Large swimming pool and facilities are spotless. Loved the little wc and basins for children! Quiet area and shaded pitches if that is what you want. Can highly recommend.

This is a fantastic campsite. It is situated right on the lake which is lovely to swim in. The swimming pool is also great. The restaurant is excellent and amazing value. We will definitely be revisiting this site in the future.

we stayed here by chance on route through Spain. the directions are confusing and we missed the small turning initially. the pitches are small on grass and gravel. there are lots of trees providing shade but you need to avoid low branches.were unable to find a pitch to fit our 7.3 meter van so parked diagonally. Several of the EHU weren’t working. the toilets were very clean. the site adjoins a large lake which was very popular with some water sports facilities. reception staff were friendly and helpful.

we’ll worth the visit booked in for 4 days and stayed 9 very peaceful in mid May ,great access to all the facilities and the lake it did help that in May we had 9 days off unbroken sunshine and temperatures in the high 20,s to early 30,s excellent shad if required we will visit again due to the warm welcome in the reception ,shop and restaurant very slight noise from early morning keen Anglers moving there boats at first light but didn’t pose a problem we will come again.

The central area around the shop bar toilet facilities is very pleasant. The 2 areas of pitches are uninspiring. Almost completely shaded, so no good for late season. Don’t think we’ll bother again.
