2 noches muy buenas. Camping interesante para disfrutar de la montaña.
A nice camping in the forest campsite. No set pitches and long EHU leads maybe needed. We arrived in a wet Saturday afternoon and reception was a bit busy but very helpful.
Lovely Spanish town on Bronchales is 15 minute walk from the campsite through the trees, where there is a few bars and a small supermarket.
Lovely walking straight from the campsite, reception has a map with signed walks. There is an interesting mushroom trail from the village to the campsite.
Great campsite. The wifi here is the best I\'ve had on any campsite, ever, which is odd because it\'s also one of the most remote I\'ve been to as well. If you like forests, and walking, this is the place to be - you can walk directly from the campsite. I saw some deer outside my window this morning. Cold at night in mid May.
We arrived on a fiesta week so ACSI not applicable, however it was only a few euros more
Staff very friendly and welcoming
We pitched up under trees close to the excellent heated facilities
The pitches are varied and 'free style' so you can choose where to stay
Sometimes long power cables are required but they have a selection in reception to help out if required
Our second visit here and we were impressed with the site and its friendly staff.
An excellent site in amongst the trees, large pitches that were only partially marked and we were allowed to spread. Can be a long way from water or electric point but the site had extension cables and long hoses available for load FOC. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the restaurant was excellent with some of the best steaks that I have had in Spain.
This was our second stay at this woodland campsite, this time in High Season. It was much busier and we spent some time trying to find a suitably flat plot close enough to an electricity point. Most people had very long power cables running across various tracks/paths in order to reach a suitable point. In the end we chose a plot close to the amenities and power, over privacy. We like this site because we have 2 dogs and enjoy walking them in the nearby woods. We think the campsite if friendly and relaxed but would recommend you visit outside of High Season, when it is quieter. The path down to the village took me less than 15 minutes but I was glad I was wearing walking shoes! We'll be back.
We used this new, to ACSI, campsite as a "stop off" on our journey from France to the Costa Blanca. We enjoyed the woodland setting and loved the walking routes for our dogs.
We found the staff very helpful and friendly, also the toilet facilities were excellent.
We intend to return soon and stay longer next time.
This campsite claims it is the highest in Spain and I well believe it, we arrived early April on our way from Benidorm to France, it was quite cold, George and Marta the managers told us that the week before they had snow on the ground, driving too the site was very much like driving over the Yorkshire moors. On arrival George and Marta could not have been more helpful, showing us around the site and helping us choose the right pitch, the facilities were warm and clean but basic, the pitches are mostly doted about the forest area, electricity is 5-10 or 15amp depending on time of year, I would not advise people with disability's to use this site, however walkers/good cyclist and those who like a quite forest site will like it. the bar/restaurant was warm but the food was disappointing, the village is 35 minute very steep walk and it has a bank and general store.
