This campsite comprises of two areas, the older more established part with plenty of shade. The newer high terraces which have lovely views but young trees giving little shade. At the time of year we visited it didn\'t matter and the view was excellent across to the old fortified town of Albarracin.
The area was very interesting, prehistoric cave paintings a short distance from the site are certainly worth a visit. There are also several good walking paths.
The only really irritating aspect of this site was it\'s WiFi access - there wasn\'t any most of the time! While I appreciate it was free I would prefer to pay to be sure of getting online. This day and age this access to the internet should be readily accessible.
Located a short walk away from the stunning village. This is a busy site and was nearly full when we stayed in June. Over the last couple of years the owners have added a terrace and while they have planted trees up there there is little/no shade. It is also quite exposed to any wind so make sure awnings are properly secured. Toilets and showers were excellent and while we didn’t eat in the restaurant they were kind enough to supply bread when we arrived. I am assuming it was part baked and they baked it for us as it was warm when they gave it to us. We enjoyed a couple of beers while we were waiting Only comment is that reception didn’t open until 0900 on the day we left. If we had noticed that we would have paid the night before. Fortunately the owners saw us parked outside and we didn’t have to wait an hour for them to open.
Albarracin is quoted as the most beautiful city in Spain and well worth a visit. the campsite is within walking distance of the Cite with views across the area and the access is good even for bigger outfits with.
a choice of pitches at lower level our up on to a terrace with the magnificent panorama
Great site with variety of shaded and unshaded pitches. Good views to Albarracin. Pleasant walk to Albarracin - can recommend the river walk after wandering around the city. Restaurant and bar on site. Clean facilities.
We visited this site after Lonely planet described albarricin as \" the most beautiful vill age in Spain\" well that\'s an exaggeration but the site is lovely with fantastic views over the village and valley. The newish toilet facilities are very good. Pitches are on three levels. The older ground level pitches and the two year old higher pitches, all have EHU several water points and waste points on the upper levels. The toilets are on the lower level. The views from the upper levels are spectacular. Pitches are flat and generous in size.
Lovely site, no internet connection even at the reception. Toilet and showers excellent and very clean. Town very much worth a visit, would recommend.
Lovely little site with a walled town to explore (be prepared to walk up hills. Shower block new and very clean, the best we have seen on our 4 week trip. Great stopover, would stay again and would recommend
Fabulous showers and toilets. Lovely quiet campsite in a beautiful unspoilt area. We happened on it by chance whilst travelling home to Murcia from UK. Staff super friendly, I believe it is family run. Restaurant/bar nice. Medium walk to Albarracin which is breathtakingly beautiful. A wee gem and well worth a visit. Highly recommendedñ
Ideal location for a break (perhaps not a stopover) if travelling south/north. Much work been done lately to provide large pitches, excellent work, but at present offering no shade should you want it, (only young trees at present) but they do offer lovely views across to the walled village/city, which is well worth a leisurely day to visit and explore. New toilet/shower block is excellent. Access to the campsite is a very easy drive through the village.
