Nice site, about 10 windy miles of the motorway. We used it as a stopover, but stayed an extra night to explore the beautiful town. If you're fit there's lots of walking. The site is at 1200m so was bit bit chilly in September.

Of all the campsites in Spain we've stayed at this one must have virtually the best ablutions! New, spotless, lots of hot water and high pressure. If only they could all be to this standard! Also, close (although not as close as we had been led to understand) to one of, if not THE, most beautiful town in Spain. If you like the medieval architecture you will be in heaven. It is gorgeous, and virtually any campsite would be worth putting up with to enable you to visit here. The surrounding countryside is stunning, the roads being a little bit errm 'interesting' in places!!
The pitches are very small and difficult to navigate a large caravan into, especially without a mover!! As it was quiet and our caravan is large the owner very kindly let us have two pitches.
Lovely restaurant with a very obliging manager, and the free use of a bbq building is an added feature. On the whole a charming, peaceful campsite, which I would be happy to return to any day.

Campsite staff very friendly, lovely clean toilets and the best showers in Spain!
Pitches small for large motorhomes and some very uneven. The old town very pretty but surrounding areas near site looked run down.
The road to the campsite is very twisty and rocks sticking out in places seemed to take ages to get to the campsite and the walk to the old village is far longer than what it says in the ACSI book the campsite told us it was over 2km not 800 metres! We liked the village and site but the road from the motorway to the site is bad especially for larger camping cars and large caravans.

We arrived on the day of opening just after lunch time expecting the place to be MT there was 4 motor homes already there. The pitch was ok; we could go where we liked, the toilet and shower blocks were the best we had seen in Spain. The owner said they were brand new, only draw back not heated so a bit chilly if used in the evening after the sun has gone down.
It really is worth a 20 mile detour when traveling either south or north when visiting Spain to see the ancient city of Albarracin a 20 minute walk from the site. We stayed 2 nights on our way back home via Somport tunnell. Restaurant did not open till May but a well stocked shop selling fresh bread 10 minute walk was open on Sunday.
