Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Fue una estancia genial, el camping muy correcto, la atención del personal muy buena y los alrededores increíbles, muy recomendable! Sobretodo en los meses que no son de muchísimo calor.

Travelling party: Couple

Pitch was okay but getting to pitches very tight with brick walls and trees everywhere. Ideal for visiting Aluqueza which is brilliant. Pool ok but not brilliant, price about right. Road noise quite significant. Staff a bit uninterested.

This campsite is perfect for a visit to Alquezar and the surrounding area which is lovely. The only downside is that some of the pitches are very close together - we were allocated a muddy pitch alongside a large motorhome with their awning which meant we felt we were encroaching on their space. We asked if there was a problem with us moving to a grassier area behind and we were able to move without any issues. There are some really nice pitches available so unless you want to be pitched as if you are in a car park then its worth asking to change. Apart from that there is a new sanitary block at the bottom of the site which is modern with much nicer toilets and showers than the block at the top of site. The site does have a very nice covered terrace with picnic tables and chairs for those who wish to barbecue outside and as previously mentioned the restaurant opposite is really good value with delicious food and friendly service. All in all we would return if in the area again.

Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed two nights at this site. The toilet facilities are slightly dated but spotlessly clean and perfectly acceptable. The restaurant opposite the site is very reasonable and the meals are excellent. There is a small shop on site that stocks basics. We risked walking up into Alquezar and didn't find the it too steep and the town is well worth the effort.

Alquezar is a short, uphill walk from the campsite and is a gem of a village. The campsite reception staff gave us a leaflet on walks in the area. One walk a circular one from Alquezar into the Rio Vero canyon. What a fantastic walk. We would recommend the walk and the campsite.

Travelling party: Couple

Visited late in the season, a good site with lots of much needed shade. be careful where you pitch as you could have a bit of a slog to the showers etc... The local village is very special but it was far too hot and too much of a distance for me to walk there. lots of adventure sporty things to do in the area if your not an oldy like me. Don't be put off by the winding road from the south west it is OK if you don't think about it too much. Wifi was good for me but I don't know what the range is and there were not many people there. Would visit again no problem.

Great little campsite in a fantastic spot.
There is some road noise at night but if we had positioned the motor home better this may have been less. Food over the road is very good value for money in the area. Lots of vineyards close by can recommend a visit to Vinas Del Vero

Excellent campsite near the medieval town of Alquezar. Terraced pitches but quite tight. If you are of the "Queen Mary docking " school of motorhoming it would be very difficult. Great for walks in the local gorge and the town is within a short walk. A gem. Birdwatching great _ lots of birds of prey and the possibility of sighting a Lammergier. On site Golden Orioles.
