General information

At Campsite La Sierrecilla in Humilladero (Málaga) camping costs as little as €18,- per night during low season with CampingCard ACSI. At one of the 86 touring pitches you will get a discounted rate during the period 13-09-2020 - 08-10-2020, 13-10-2020 - 03-12-2020 and 09-12-2020 - 31-12-2020.

The campsite is already several years old. The young trees and bushes give sufficient shade in the summer, and in the winter it is mostly sunny. Really lovely swimming pool. Cafe/bar with enthusiastic young people, snack menu and takeaway meals. Lovely hinterland with many mountains and white villages.

Absolutely dreadful. Set up our van only to be joined by 4 cars and numerous children in the neighboring pitch, obviously having a party. We moved pitches but were kept awake all night by various parties, dogs barking and cow bells clanging. This appeared to be normal activities for a Friday night. Could not get out of there quick enough.

We have visited this site a couple of times before and apart from the barking dogs have been very happy. On this occasion however, although the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, we were struck by how run down some things were, the toilets and showers were filthy and desperately in need of maintenance. Such a shame for what was a good site. We will not return nor could we recommend to others.

We stayed here for 3 nights and although it says quiet day and night nothing could be further from the truth. We barely managed 4 hours sleep a night due to constant music and talking. On the 2nd morning after being kept awake until 2.30am a family arrived to pitch up behind us at 6.45am!! Their dog barked the whole time they were setting up. Unfortunately we were meeting friends so needed to stay otherwise we would have left after the first night. On the plus side the reception staff were great and helped us purchase a part for our motorhome. Wifi didn't work on my iPad but was ok on my husbands Kindle. It's a good site but needs someone to enforce a few ground rules. Great walking right outside the camp, we had our dog and he loved it.

Large pitches. Very noisy at night due to fair help nearby. We did not get any sleep one night. We could not buy bread on the site. Swimming pool was closed. Dogs barked all night in the nearly town.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of January. The plot sizes are good but the entire site hasn't been well maintained. Shower block is basic but did have hot water as did the washing up sinks. Only one washing machine which was a bit temperamental. Lake nearby for an easy walk with a good interpretation centre.

Humilladero is a good base for visiting Antequera and El Torcal, a real stunning place to visit. Staff are friendly and helpful. The site is still quite new and being developed further, there's not as much hedging and other planting around as some other sites. Pitches are good size and easy to access. Shower facilities good.

Lovely clean site with big pitches, quiet day and night. Great showers. Staff friendly and helpful. Good area for walking and relaxing. Humilladero lake is a must for bird lovers.
