Make sure that you get the right site, the naturist site is just along the road. The site has the covers over the pitches which makes it dark, and the beach is just a beach with a code to get in and out.
We stayed on this site in February, the pool was not used all the pitches had covers which were rolled back but you would need in the summer, there’s a gate out onto the beach, the reception staff had a good command of English but the bar staff didn’t, we got bread etc at the bar on a daily basis, we had two meals while we were there and both were good and not badly priced,
We stayed for 2 weeks in February 2019. Good value per night with electricity.
Excellent very clean heated loos and showers, soap and toilet paper
Large rectangular plots.
Reception staff very polite and helpful.
Good free WiFi coverage all over the site.
On site restaurant was open but very quiet this time of year and the food was reasonably priced and ok.
Situated on a lovely beach.
Local town nearby with good restaurants.
We hired a car from the reception and car hire company deliver the car to you at
Will definitely go back.
Trees now severely lopped so you can forget about previous comments about dark pitches - now very open & sunny with overhead tarpaulins drawn back but ready for summer. Staff do speak English & were helpful. Pool having major refurb ready for summer. Ate in restaurant twice so far - good selection. Only one fresh water tap - at the toilet block. Regular bus service into Malaga - very pleasant journey (60 mins) - we visited twice ‘cos too much to see in one day!
Enjoyable stay over xmas. Walked and cycled to Torres. Seemed a well run, clean and friendly site. Would come again.
Arrived on November....it’s the first time they have been open all year and hence were very quiet (suits us). Reception staff friendly and helpful (not so common elsewhere). Trees were being cut so more sun gets onto the pitch. We liked the site and good beach.
I was looking forward to staying here, but we had a walk around the site and decided to move on. I’m sure that in the height of summer the fact that all the pitches were under cover would have been great, but in May it was not what we wanted.
A lovely site right on the beach. Less than half full when we arrived. Staff very helpful and friendly. Open style pitches so nothing between you and your neighbour.
Basic on-site shop but Mercadona is a 5 minute drive, or a 10 minute bike ride, down the road. Fresh bread available daily in bar.
Plenty of winter sun due to trees not having any leaves on them (yet). I would imagine it will be a very shady site later in the year.
Bar and restaurant open all day, food reasonably priced. Children's animation on site for the Spanish school half term.
Toilet block really clean and well maintained although remember to take loo paper with you. Lovely walk down the beach to Almayate Baja where several small beach bars were open. Would definitely come again.
Definitely stay away from here, took over half an hour to check in, with rude staff, not one spoke even a little English to help, every pitch is in shade with tarpaulins covering any gaps in the trees, the pool was nice that's a good point, the pitches are very tight to get in and very difficult, won't be returning here. Without doubt the worst we stayed on.
visited May 2017. arrived on Saturday night and very very busy. lots of Spanish families out to enjoy the w/e. Atmosphere was busy but friendly and quite noisy. The smell of cooking delicious. on Sunday totally different. virtually everyone started to clear up and leave. pitches can be quite dark as many have netting over. a few with just heavy tree shade nearer beach end. as it was hot the shade was welcome. The toilets/ showers are clean but the latter has 2 push buttons for hot and cold so difficult to maintain an even temp. but not really a problem. The swimming pool was warm clean and in good condition. hard standing and grass area for sunbathing with a few sunbeds. a good market on site with a bit of everything you need. Restaurant reasonably priced with decent selection. We had sea bass and pork loin with bottle of vino Blanco. Brilliant location for beach lovers, just abt back of site. A couple of beach bars a short walk away. Beach was clean starting with sand then finishing with small pebbles. free Wi-Fi available throughout site. hard to log on when site was busy but good when quiet. little in the surrounding area. Would definitely use again
