Initially stopped for just a few days but ended up staying a week (paying 6nights for 7). Location is beautiful, walk through the pine trees across the road and straight onto the long sandy beach. The town is nothing special but worth a trip down to the harbour area to the local restaurants for some fantastic Spanish food, there is also a small weekly market in the town. Nice easy cycle track into the town and around, we also cycled along an old railway track to Ayamonte, it meant going over the bridge on the main road and was quite a rough track in places, but nice ride and Ayamonte is worth a visit. There are also boat trips to take you around or across the channel, would definitely return again, lovely staff on site, and good showers. We chose a pitch along the road under the high pines as they had much more room than the others (which tended to be typically Spanish and on top of each other). Didn\'t use the pool but it looked nice enough, snack bar always busy and well stocked small shop on site too.

Lovely site, great facilities. Showers lovely and hot, clean. Good value laundry facilities. Close to the beach, easy pedestrian route into town, good cycle routes. Lovely cycle to the next town Islantilla to watch the fishermen working on the beach. Lovely bars and restaurants along the beach, 10A electricity. Javi on reception was very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. Would stay again. CCA.

Estuvimos ahi un par de noches y el personal fue muy atento y nos ayudo a colocar la caravan en horas tardias. Bastante sombre pero parcelas muy pegadas las unas a las otras. cerca de la playa. Muy Buena comida en el bar

Large campsite, reception really nice plenty of shade but under pine trees ,you can get a lot of needles and sap on you’re rig. You’re pitch could be 80 -100 metres from washing & shower v good ,and 250 m from pool and bar / restaurant not used so no comment.

We visited this site after a gap of several years it hasn\'t changed very much although the wifi was excellent and free. The facilities are good but a bit remote from some pitches. The staff are helpful and friendly. The location is very good close to beach and town. Cycle paths all over the town. The main problem is the dusty roads. The pitches are flat with specific areas of compacted earth for motorhomes. But the site roads are either dusty in dry weather or sticky sand in wet weather.

A huge campsite with lovely surroundings in a pine forest with excellent access to the stunning beaches in easy walking distance. We had a lovely friendly welcome and the facilities were clean and tidy.

An easy cycle ride into Isla Cristina although it\'s nothing special.

The pool area is beautiful although we didn\'t use it.

We had a great two days with fantastic weather and can not find anything negative to say.

A very big campsite with many large semi permanent set ups. The showers and toilets were very clean with plentiful hot water. Nice pool, but because of the size of the site it was a choice of near the pool or near the services, you couldn’t do both! Friendly reception and small shop. Free Wi-fi for ACSI. Short walk across the dunes to the beach. Pitches were not marked out and it was a bit of a free for all.

Happy with this site. Very friendly and helpful welcome. Facilities clean and adequate. Easy access to local town on foot, by bike or by car. Lovely beach. Pool really nice. Play area for children. Little shop on site was useful. More food shops in local town. We would have stayed longer than 2 nights if we had time.

Stayed for five nights. Shower block we used was one of the best we’ve seen since starting our touring in July 17. Water pressure and temperature superb any time of day. Staff nothing other than pleasant. Pitches are sand and vary in size and shape. Isla Cristina didn’t impress us much, but Islantinna beaches and bars to the east of the site are nice. We liked it here despite negative reviews we’ve read.

All points covered in previous posts, we visited the site on route to Portugal, two very wet days so probable didn’t see site at its best, probably wouldn’t return to this site in wet weather conditions.
