Well maintain campground. Regularly cleaned. Good pool and has a restaurant, although we did not try either. Good sized sites with some grass on sandy soil. Handy to walk or mountain bike into El Rocio

Showers poor, several doors wouldn\'t close in ladies and more spray than water. Also shame no heating for the winter. Hand driers not working & hot water for dishes bit hit & miss. Not good value overall, apart from excellent WiFi. Staff helpful in booking a wildlife tour.

Lovely site with good sized pitches that get plenty of sun in winter. Toilet blocks could do with a bit of TLC but plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice menu del dia at the site restaurant. Easy walk into the quirky but must see town which has a couple of small supermarkets. Stayed longer than planned and will return in the future.

A super site close to the centre of El Rocío. Pleasant shaded pitches on sand, no grass to speak of, but a good amount of shade. Great facilities, hot showers, toilet paper and seats! Friendly reception staff. Lovely swimming pool, booked 2 nights but stayed for 3. Used the restaurant, nice 3 course meal. Would definitely stay again.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, also booked us a tour into the National Park.
The site is well laid out with decent size pitches, but not many are grass, ours was completely sand.
The ablution block was fine, even though a little dated, the swimming pool was lovely, however a caveat, when we stayed there were probably only 2 dozen units on site.
We tried the site restaurant, typical Spanish food, well cooked and the menu Del Dia was if you ate on the terrace.
The town is a 2km walk with a beautiful cathedral.
We had 4nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

What a strange place. Make sure you go at a weekend or the local town will be dead. It’s a cowboy town and everyone is on horseback or in a horse-drawn carriage.

not sure what happened to the large grassy pitched as when we were here all the pitches were sand. toilet blocks were good with hot water, toilet seats and paper, but they could do with some mats by the entrance doors because as all the pitches and roads are sand, the showers are full of sand as there is no way of brushing the sand off. could also do with a stool and mop in the showers.

Great site. Close to El Rocio which is a must see. Pitches are hard sand. Facilities are fine. Kerbs to pitches mean van needed a shove. Lots and lots of pesky flies tho! Matalascanas also worth a visit. Would return (with a fly swat) !

This was our second visit, the draw being the wonderful town of El Rocio.
The site in mid September was relatively quiet with plenty of choice of sandy pitches, although with a caravan and full awning we spillled into the adjacent pitch for dining and parking which wasn't an issue.
Good clean wash block and swimming pool.
A fifteen minute easy walk gets you into the town of El Rocio and the beautiful church and very unique town. Drinking at bars with horses and riders alongside is amazing. Sadly the lake was dried out so no birds but horses and deer rutting!
Fully recommend this site as you shouldn't miss this town!

Quirky place...sandy site and town. Free wifi across the site. Pitch flat but sandy. Restaurant and bar were good value for campsite style cooking. V small supermarket on site and limited food shopping in the area. Rode bikes into National park to palace. Interesting area
