Small site, stayed there three nights to visit Granada. We had a good pitch, liked the tall hedges between pitches which gave us privacy. Facilities good, but the shower water must be heated via solar panels as after a miserable days weather the following morning the showers were only lukewarm, Bar and tapas excellent.
Very well thought out camp site with some lovely buildings and settings eg pool area and restaurant eating area. However quite small site so late arrivals might miss out or get poor pitch. Some pitches quite small and little shade and little privacy although we had lovely corner pitch with hedges either side - just very very hard rocky ground not good for tent pegs or sleeping on thin mats!
Great for visiting Granada with bus stop outside door of campsite but be warned the change of buses in Granada to get to the Alhambra was not as simple as the man at reception implied! We ended up exploring the old town then walking up to the palace
Stayed here early June 2017 pitches very small just enough room to open caravan door parking very tight. Weekends very busy as all the cabins fill up, noise until 2.00am. A very poular restaurant for people noy staying there. Trees and shrubs need pruning so you can see the lovely views and reveal the lighting hiding in them.Toilet and showers very dated.
Swimming pool quite pleasant very full at weekends with large amounts of children jumping in all the time. No lifeguard or any means of locking the pool to stop use. I would not stay at this site again.
We chose this site as it was listed in the ACSI guide as a discounted price in low/mid season. The site looks attractive when entering, reception was easy and we booked our tickets for the Alhambra visit. Worth every penny of the surcharge. I had been unable to book online. The pitches on site are very small, enclosed by trees and very dusty. The toilet block was dated but functional. The site had a very nice swimming pool which was still open at the end of September. Overall, a handy place to stay, but the site needs some attention.
We stayed here for 5 nights so we could visit Granada and the Alhambra. Small, compact, 'rustic' campsite. Some pitches were very narrow with only just enough room to open your door, although some others were a bit wider. Hedges, in our opinion were far too high, on many pitches were as high as a motorhome or caravan blocking out all light. There were quite a lot trees about the site but in March they didn't block out the sun but gave dapple shade and it was nice to hear the many birds about the site. The toilet/ shower facilities were kept clean but badly in need of an upgrade. Pool area looked nice but was closed in March. Didn't try the restaurant so can't comment. Staff were helpful in booking our tickets for the Alhambra for an additional charge of €5. We were in a motorhome and would have needed 2 buses ( with a walk between the 1st and 2nd buses) to the Alhambra so on their advice they also booked us a taxi which cost only a little more than going by bus and was well worth it getting there in 20 minutes instead of perhaps an hour! Granada easy to get to by bus in 20 mins from right outside the campsite. Granada had a great atmosphere with many cafes and restaurants and a very helpful tourist office!
Ideal base for visiting Granada. Toilet and shower facilities a little out dated perhaps but very clean. Pitches not big but adequate for a few days stop over at a city site all you do is visit city anyway and need a place to kip at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bus stop at campsite. Would come back.
This is an excellent site to visit the Alhambra & Granada. Pitches are tight but ok. The staff on site are excellent & help make the stay.
Arrived in June very hot and tired looking forward to a swim but the pool was not open despite this guide stating it opened on 5th May. Pitches were best described as "compact". It was entertaining watching people struggle to get larger Motorhomes on their allocated pitch. Not happy with lack of space and pool so moved on after 1 night.
Walking distance to supermarkets and bus goes into Central Granada so convenient to see the city and Alhambra. However the camping is crowded and the pitches small. The bathrooms and amenities are well used but clean. The WiFi is very slow and the signal at some campsites might be inadequate.
Really good location. Pitches nice and private with plenty of shade. Pool was superb. They also help with organising excursions.
