We are at this site as I write. It\'s almost 11pm and there is loud music from several pitches, dogs barking and have been most of the day. People leave them tied up outside their vans or tents and go out for the day, one little poodle howls constantly. There is supposed to be someone patrolling but no one seems to care about the noise. The beach is dirty and has mostly rubble and black sand, not to mention cans, wire, plastic pipe and broken plates on. We have had someone\'s dog do it\'s business right on our pitch as we were eating tonight, they didn\'t even know where he was and when I shouted the owner came to get it and wasn\'t even going to clear it up until I gave her a bag and a very stern look. The only positive it the Paella which was first class. We are meeting friends nearby and were hoping to stay a week but will be moving on. Definitely won\'t be coming again, shame because with some good management and a beach clean up it could be a pretty little site.
Well a very quiet site not much around staff and the pitch are all good lots of shade . Toilet block a little tried but very clean . For us two just a little to quiet. The bar does a very nice paella
Loved the staff, really enjoyed our pitch. Food, especially the paella very good value for money. All facilities very clean and neat
A lovely clean campsite right on the coast with walks along the coast/beach, town nearby has plenty of bars and restuarants, pitches are a good size. A quiet site, staff are very helpfull, will go there again next year.
The campsite itself is attractively planted and the pitches are of reasonable size. Care must be taken in accessing the pitches with large units and a motor mover makes things much easier. The on site facilities were dated but clean with plenty of hot water. During our stay there the approach was off the A7 which is very busy, and a single carriageway road. Construction of the new motorway is under way and in places appears to be nearing completion, especially around Motril. The nearest large supermarkets are at Motril which is about a 20 minute drive along the coast road which has some stunning views. The site does suffer from processional caterpillars but these are immediately taken care of by the staff when reported. There is a very small stoney beach adjacent to the site. The area is surrounded by large scale plastic greenhouses but views of these from the site are well shielded.
Good for overnight stays.
Positioned right on the sea front but with good protection from the wind. Unfortunately no beach as such to walk along. Nice sized, individual pitches set amongst a mix of some wonderful trees. Faculties are dated but clean and looked after. Nice bar, generous drink measures, and shop on site which carries the basics. Not great for cycling or walking if thats your thing. If anything the site is let down by it's location.
A fairly large site sandwiched between the pebbly beach and main A7 autovia. The pitches were large with water, waste and electricity at each pitch. The toilet/showers were dated although clean with adequate hot water. OK for an overnight stop as there are very few amenities in the immediate vicinity. The on-site restaurant provided a reasonable meal.
It's a very nice corner of Andalucia. The perfect staff and other employees very friendly. Toilets a bit old but very very clean. The very large plots, with electricity, water and sewage in the same plot. Return.
Nice just for short break not too many places to walk to or bike, you must have car. Only beach dirty not cleaned, by camp site only very small beach. Toilets and showers old but hot water and clean. Bar basic, food in restaurant is very very poor, in need of improvement. Good for one stopover.
This is a large site with plenty of pitches. The area is covered in grass with well defined pitches. There are lots of trees for shade. Some of which are mulberry, they tend to drop the fruit at this time of year and can be messy. The toilets and wash areas were clean but not heated.
The site is off the A7 but there was no road noise. There is a shop at the site and an other down the road. A good site for a quite rest. Don't go there for the beach, it is very rocky and uninspiring. Overall a plesant site but not much to do. We would use again if passing.
