Travelling party: Couple

Small campsite with splendid views over the Sierra Nevada, toilet and shower block immaculate and modern, swimming pool closed. And currently being used as a dog pen for the owners dog which is an American Standard bread, whilst the dog seams friendly it barks quite a bit. The site is a great base both for visiting Granada with a bus stop directly outside the camp, if you enjoy walking and mountain cycling this is a great place with lots of walks and tracks locally.

My abiding memories after having stayed 2 nights recently was the smell in the toilets, the outrageously expensive wifi and the convenient bus service to Granda. All the other comments about lack of investment ring true.

Travelling party: Seniors

Quiet little campsite, ideally located close to the A92 and with easy access to Granada via car or the bus service which has a stop at the camp entrance. Terraced gravel plots, with many having lovely views of the Sierra Nevada mountains, could be tight for larger vans. All facilities clean but dated. Small swimming pool looked nice but appeared to be closed. Very cheap and excellent wifi. Campsite really could do with some tlc.

The site was quiet, so we had our pick of pitches which were of a very good size and level. The toilets and showers were very clean however the show was hot for only two minutes then went very cold, so very disappointed. When we went to pay, the man on reception would not accept any of the proof we had of having acsi card (web page, receipt for 2017 and photo of card-still at home since new card and we had been touring since November, so very disappointed. No local amenities, small supermarket in Beas de Granada a 15 minute walk. Scenery was stunning however.

,We really enjoyed our stay at this campsite and will go back again it is a good base to visit Granada.
We had a lovely walk into the local village about a kilometre away down a steep hill, but very nice to see a local village. The views over the Sierra Nevada Mountains is breathtaking from the site.

A spectacularly located site with elevated views to the snowcapped mountains. Very good facilities with limited provisions. Excellent on-site restaurant/bar. Good size pitches and level. Bus stop immediately at site entrance with regular service into centre of Granada. The return bus is from the same stop. Very cheap. Nearby village is pretty but doesn’t have much to offer otherwise. The perfect site for visiting Granada.

A great little site convenient for visiting Granada, which is why we chose it. Alhambra tickets can be booked by the very helpful Reception, although in May we had to wait from our arrival on Wednesday evening until Saturday to get a ticket, so be warned and book ahead! Buses run from the campsite several times a day except Sundays, at a cost of €2.40 each way pp. The journey takes a picturesque 20 mins and drops you a short walk from the centre. From there shuttle buses run up to the Alhambra but can be unpleasantly hot and crowded so would recommend either walking, or the hop on, hop off tourist train. We went into the city twice and loved it, there's so much to see and do apart from the Alhambra, including the old moorish town of Albaycin.
The campsite site itself has some great pitches but can be busy. We swapped pitches after night one to one with a fabulous view of the Sierra Nevada. As other reviewers have commented, the sanitary facilities could do with a bit of TLC - broken hooks and door locks in some showers and toilets and a door that wouldn't close, but plenty of hot water and all in all a congenial, friendly and good value site where we happily whiled away four nights.

A real gem of a site overlooking the Sierra Nevada, we used this site as a stop-over on our way through Granada, would have happily stayed longer if time allowed but we will return in the future when next passing through.
The facilities are very clean spacious and in great order.

A nice site, easy access and reasonable size pitches. The bar and restaurant is very good and worth a visit. We wasn\'t impressed with the village, very narrow streets and rather uninteresting, perhaps we missed the best bit, good job we didn\'t walk there. We only stayed one night and I got bitten all over with mosquitos.
