A great little site, very quiet when we were there - though as is traditional, locals appeared on Friday night to occupy some of the cabins for the weekend with a bit of TV/children noise. Really helpful staff with all tje info for bus trip into Cordoba. The shower \'situation\' mentioned in most reviews, is explained in the introductory paperwork. On our visit, the hot water was abundant - funnily enough, it being 30°C+, we actually wanted cold showers so used our own! if you like dark sites, this is the one for you. The site lights go out nice and early and the night sky would have been fantastic - had it not been for the full moon!

We enjoyed staying 2 nights at this site, mid September to relax, when it was very quiet and plenty of choice : walk round to check out your own pitch as varying in shape and size. We chose no.46 at the back of the site, very private and near the lovely, although rather cold swimming pool where you need take your own chairs but plenty of lawn to sit/lie on. The wash block is fine, and showers ok although only warm, and take your own paper in case the loo roll on entry has run out! No hot water for dishes or clothes washing. They offer a laundry service 7kg or 12kg. Fresh bread daily if ordered the day before.
The town of Villafranca is very close but is a warren of small streets and we initially struggled to find a supermarket so ask at reception (English spoken) who have a map.

Expensive for what it is, no shop, no bar. Bar has been closed for 4 years. Nearest shop is about 2km away, not exactly local. Owners charge for everything, cars, trailers, visitors. The gate closes at 10.45 so no chance of a relaxing drink with friends in village. We felt as if we were under curfew, had to be back at a certain time or would get locked out. No chance of a couple of coffee when you use the internet. Internet sparse and intermittent Owner not interested. Gave the impression he couldn\'t care less if he had visitors or not. A very bad attitude. We won\'t return.

Great location to visit Cordoba. Bus service available if required. Set in the countryside near to a town with good facilities needed for camping. Campsite well set out with flat , shaded pitches with hedges giving a degree of privacy.
Owners very helpful and speak English. Very limited groceries available and restaurant only open weekdays in high season as is the pool.
Only issue about this campsite is the hot water, or lack of it! Owner provided information regarding the hot water taking a while to reach the shower block in low season but it was quite busy during our stay and the showers were tepid to say the least after a lengthy period pushing the shower button... shame as it really is my only complaint.

Hard to understand why this site is so quiet this time of year. Maybe if they dropped the cost just a little, more people might be tempted.....?
Second time we have visited. Lovely rural site, but handy for the motorway and for Córdoba. We caught the bus into Córdoba from the village.
Shower facilities do take a bit of practice, but you get used to them! Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Worth a walk around the village, its not huge but has some pretty buildings and has the feel of a genuine Spanish village. Two small supermarkets, bakeries, ferraterria, bank, chemist, and some bars and cafes, are to be found. Great football pitch too!

A welcoming campsite with a nice pool about 15 miles outside Cordoba. Generously sized shady pitches and a dark skies policy where some of the brighter lighting goes off around 11pm - which we loved! We drove into Cordoba in the campervan, using the secure parking recommended by the campsite, which is also an Aire, and only a 10minute walk from the Mezquita. There are buses from the village too but these only run a few times a day. The only minor niggle was the showers, with only short bursts of water which can take a few pushes to run properly hot but it wasn\'t a problem and is explained when you arrive in the helpful information leaflet. We recommend this site.

Very nice clean campsite. Showers like in France, push button (short duration) type. Lots of happy birds around, reception very friendly and helpful. Liked this site and it was within easy reach of Córdoba and reception told us a good place to free park. We would visit again.

We had appeasing stay despite heavy rain before our arrival. Pitch was wet but dried quickly. Pitches hedged and reasonable size. Toilet shower facilities elderly but perfectly clean, would be stretched if site busy. Excellent for Córdoba, a place not to be missed and worth 2 or 3 days to enjoy fully.

Don\'t go here if it\'s raining. The pitches and roadways get waterlogged. The showers were basic, I didn\'t use them, but a lady I spoke to was very cold, but it was April. It was convenient for Córdoba, as there weren\'t many sites in the vicinity. The wifi was spasmodic.

I\'m afraid this is a very overpriced campsite, even the lowest acsi rate would be too much. Poor showers with only luke warm water, you are given info stating that when there are low numbers of people in the campsite it can take longer for hot water to appear, it never appeared. Some door locks non functional. Only one toilet roll holder per gender for the whole site, toilet seats missing. Only access to toilets and shower across muddy road, no gravel or Tarmac so vehicle churned up road. Pitches nice and large but too many had overhanging branches scraping on roof. Will not return.
