We have visited this site in May for the last three years. On our first visit we planned to stay for three nights but enjoyed it so much we stayed a week and since then have had a week each year. The site is attractively laid out with natural shade under umbrella trees but also plenty of sun. The pitches are quite sandy as is the whole area but hard standing provided for the wheel tracks. There are taps near every pitch and we have always found the free wifi accessible on every pitch to be a strong signal. The shower block is kept very clean. Toilet paper is provided and soap in the hand basins. Hot water is plentiful any time of day and the washing machines are well used. The pool area looks good but is not in use in May. There are very few seasonal pitches although the site becomes quite busy at weekends and May bank holiday weekend is always full. The atmosphere though remains as it tends to be families who spend all day on the beach. The bungalows seem to be well booked and look very good. The reception staff mostly speak English and are very helpful and friendly and will advise on places to see. You are allocated a pitch on arrival but can basically chose where you want and let them know. A big bonus if there is a lot you can do on foot or bike. The village itself is small but a 1k walk through the lanes takes you to a stunning unspoilt stretch of white San all the way to Cape Trafalagar. There are several good restaurants on the way to the beach and several beach cafes there. At the front of the site is an excellent coveran mini market which stocks everything including bread, veg, milk and meat and lots of wine. El Palmar is only a few kilometres away and has lots of beach cafes specialising in fish. It has a more hippy/surfer vibe than Zuheros which is more family oriented. Canos de Mecca in the other direction also provides variety. Further afield is Vejer de Frontera a beautiful white hill town and down the coast towards Tarifa is the wonderful Roman site of Bologna. This is such a friendly relaxed site in such a beautiful unspoilt area it is probably our favourite coastal spot in Spain. Can\'t wait to return j. 2018

Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed on this site in May for 3 days so we could visit Gibralter for a day which was a brilliant experience. The site is ideal for a short stop - over to explore the area. Not many people on site at this time but there were quite a few in the accomadations. Sanitarys were clean, water and electric on pitch. Will defo visit again as staff were pleasant and freindly. Alot of the pitches were on sand with paved slabs for wheels and there was lots of ants nests ,so go prepared with ant powder for around steadys to keep out of van. Stayed with ACSI. so reasonable price out of season. But they do not accept the acsi ID card as proof of identity, they want your passport, so card id a waste of money.

This campsite is a good all rounder. The plots are large and easy to get in and out of, there is water, grey-waste, tv aerial point, wifi is included and reaches the pitches (single can be weak when campsite is busy).
Bathrooms very clean and plenty of hot water. Staff very helpful and friendly, reception speak English. Outside the back of the campsite you will find a massive pine forest where you can walk for hours, very peaceful. Out the front of the campsite and across the road is a cluster of houses, work your way through them and you come to a beautiful stretch of unspoilt beach. In Los Canos Demeca (a little village to the left of the campsite is a very small village) on Saturdays there is a hippy market on,which is certainly worth a visit. Conil and Vejer are small towns near by, conil has shops which sell all the hippy clothes etc, local fruit, veg and fish.
A brilliant campsite and area.

A very good site in a rural area near to the coast. Idea for visiting Cadiz and surrounding area. Pitches are marked but no hedges and our allocated pitch was already being half used by someone else but it was no problem to choose another. Site is slightly exposed and got quite windy overnight but otherwise pleasant. Good toilet/shower facilities (outside looks a bit old but inside facilities were very good). Friendly, helpful staff. Local area was pretty much closed in March as it was so early in the season but site has a restaurant and supermarket.

Nice site set in pine forest with a degree of shade in Summer, all pitches are on sand and a reasonable size. Staff very friendly and helpful. The toilet blocks are clean and spacious. The pool and bar area are very nice with plenty of sun beds, life guard on duty all the time. The site also has a restaurant and another bar at the front of the site, also a well stocked supermarket all priced very reasonable. Wifi is free with good reception.
Outside the site you can cycle for miles or simply walk finding lots of beautiful beaches with some amazing beech bars. I would recommend this site, one word of warning this site gets very bruised at weekends.

Our Best site after 4 weeks in Spain. Shaded pitches sand/grass, excellent facilities including MH wash. Friendly helpful staff that work hard to maintain site. Great pool. 15 mins walk to great beach. Definitely return

What a wonderful find. Excellent facilities, really good supermarket and superb beaches with golden sand and some nice bars to drink in and sample tapas.
To get to the beach head across the road from the entrance, go right a bit and follow a road that turns sharp left. You\'ll start to see signs for la playa quite quickly. It\'s a bit of a walk in the heat, alternatively hire bikes from reception.
Would definitely come back here.

We stayed on this camp site at the begining of may 2016; very good shop on site well stocked, the only downside was the distance to the beach, and we never found the way to it on foot; the site itself was very clean and the shower and toilets were well maintained.

Lovely site with some great pitches. We chose number 4 away from the pool and sports facilities and were very happy. Staff were very helpful, the lady at reception was very friendly and helpful, giving us maps and telling us about the beach and how to walk to it with our dog. We didn\'t eat on site but the restaurant looked busy so I\'m guessing it was good. We arrived on a Monday and it was blissfully quiet until Friday when as we knew from reading reviews the site could get busy. It happened to be the European cup final between Athletico Madrid and Real Madrid so you can imagine it was a bit loud. But all in good spirits and by Sunday afternoon it was quiet again. We stayed for 8 nights , the longest we have stayed at any site in our 9 weeks of travelling. The beach was lovely and we could let the dog off the lead to run around in the surf. We had a lovely time, all fasciities were very good, loads of hot water and very clean. We will definately return.

Would recommend completely. Toilets scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and draining boards when doing dishes. Pitches of various sizes and shaded or not under large pine trees. Could change after initial allocation. Excellent swimming pool. Site fairly busy at weekend but layout separated chalets from campers and caravans very well. Good free wifi all over site, even BBC and ITV to individual pitches... you will need ariel lead although I think they could be hired or purchased. Good supermarket on site. Only con was that beach was quite a walk away. Vejer is well worth a visit, easy parking very close to town (reception will show you where on map).
