Travelling party: Couple

Good site for visiting Cadiz, turn left at the entrance and walk all the way along the waterfront to the ferry terminal, takes about 30 minutes. Campsite not great, dusty hard pitches, little shade, more like a car park. Staff not the most helpful or welcoming. The old town is nice. Pool not open, shame, it was hot and nothing else on site. Bar/restaurant at the entrance, don’t think it’s anything to do with the campsite though. Cádiz well worth the 30 minute ferry ride, but does not sail when windy.

Sadly, one of the worst campsites we have been to in Spain (and we have visited many). This is where they invented the phrase "packed like sardines". There is no privacy whatever. You can't choose where you want to go, you are placed by their staff cheek-by-jowl where they want you to be. Far from the water supply, and the toilets. Incredibly noisy, dogs barking all night. The only saving grace was that the toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and modern. Everything else was dirt and dust and noise. All other campsites on the Costa del Sol are paradise by comparison.

Moody unhelpful receptionist. Some pitches further down past the shower block were free and had shade, however we were told they were not available, instead directed to what looked more like a carpark, dusty hard ground impossible to put even heavy duty pegs in, campers using ‘boulders’ to anchor awnings. On a plus.... handy for ferry port to Cádiz, also local old town very nice and worth a visit.

Travelling party: Couple

we were directed to a pitch which might have well have been in the middle of a car park, with dust and dirt underfoot which made it unbearably uncomfortable during windy conditions.

restaurant poor with little English spoken or understood, food quality barely edible. price not cheap. WiFi in bar area would not work and as staff had little English (or possibly inclination!) to help.
the beach opposite is truly magic wh
weather permitting but unfotunately during our stay the wind was so strong we could hardly stand, (no fault of the campsite admittedly)

Travelling party: Seniors

Great location, especially for walking - 20mins to town centre, 2 mins to beach and 10mins to marina. Very disappointing that neither the supermarket nor the swimming pool were open and didn't appear to have been for some time. Pitches not well marked and seemed rather haphazard and also scruffy. Toilet/shower facilities very good. Overall the site needs some tlc and better marking of plots. However the location is great.

Second time at this site, unfortunately things appear to have gone down hill in the twelve month since our last visit,
This site is ideally situated for a visit to Cadiz which is a must, also the surrounding area has some beautiful beaches, the toilet block area is kept very clean, this concludes the good.
The pool was closed, as was the restaurant and bar, the water in the showers was barely warm, the young lady on reception was to say the least miserable, we arrived two days before the ACSI discount card became valid so paid the full rate despite as I have said the restaurant, bar and pool area all being closed. I would not recommend this site unless standards improve.

Travelling party: Couple

Booked for 2 nights, left after one. Very windy, gale force.Food ok but were not allowed to eat inside, so everything you ate or drank was full of sand. Receptionist very surly and disinterested no info given willingly. Rubbish everywhere, no attempt to clear it. Would not stay here again.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Just an important info: Children are not free until 5 years, but until 2 years. So we were a bit surprised, but the lady at reception insisted on her truth :(

Travelling party: Couple

Excellent location on bike path to town and marina. Good train connection to nearby Jerez and Cadiz plus regular ferry to Cadiz. Nice friendly bar/restaurant attached. But - campsite nearly full with motor homes and caravans but only one of three toilet blocks open! That means 6 men's showers and 6 men's toilets available for several hundred people. This should not be allowed. Pitches adequate if a bit scruffy. Staff a bit offhand. Very noisy dogs both on site and in neighbouring houses some of which barked all night. Large pool closed till June which with temps at times of 30c was a bit silly. Large well kept beach opposite.

Carole Elliott, on this campsite in March 2014

Travelling party: Seniors

Pitches and site were quite scruffy. Large beach opposite site and easy walk into town. Toilet facilities were clean and adequate.
