We had a friendly welcome and the facilities are lovely and clean. The pitches are a decent size and we could choose from many as the site is very quiet. Unfortunately the site looks nothing lice it\\\'s photos as there is no grass on the pitches , the pool is filthy and closed so very disappointed as that\\\'s why we picked the place.
Thank you for taking the time to review our campsite, sorry that it was not what you expected.
We have grass pitches and pitches with blocks on it, you can choose on arrival which you did. The pool opens in June and not in May that is why it was not clean, hopefully we can welcome you again when the pool is open.
Fantastic site we had a great time, the staff were really helpful and friendly the food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.
The pool was closed but looked to be really nice once the season kicks in
Easy to find and the pitches were a good size, our caravan is 7.4m and it fitted along with a car.
There is plenty of safe cycling around the site and Conil is a very nice small town
Would visit this site again if in the area
Thank you for taking the time to review our campsite.
The pool opens from June till the end of September, maybe next time you can enjoy the pool also.
Love to welcome you again.
Very nice site with lots of overwintering Brits as well as many other Europeans. Staff very helpful. Toilets and showers really good. Touring pitches a bit small, as the larger ones are booked up to 5 years in advance by returning people. As with most of Spain dogs are not allowed in restaurants (unlike France) not even on the terrace of the site restaurant so we can’t comment on the food. Lots of organised activities if you want. Lovely beach a short drive or cycle away, too far for us to walk. Nothing much else in the area. We would go back.
Dear mr McKie,
Thank you for taking the time to review our campsite, hopefully we can welcome you again and explain you which beautiful places you can visit.
The reception staff were good, pitches were of a decent size and we managed to just get our 8mtr MH on, larger pitches are available but do not come under the ACSI pricing scheme. The site is sloping and vans need to be on levelling blocks. The toilets and shower blocks were very clean with plenty of hot water although the showers work on a timer which gives you 7 minutes of hot water which we found to be plenty. There appears to be quite a lot of organised events going on such as quiz night, whist night and the restaurant appears to do a weekly theme evening, we cannot comment on these as we didn\'t attend. The location of the site is fairly good and you can easily cycle into Conil although the other way apart from the port there is very little. There appeared to be a number of people who were long term, although we felt that there was not enough to do in the local area without transport, we would use again if passing for a few days.
Great little site near the very Spanish village of Conil, facilities ample and very clean. Showers hot and plenty of room to dry and dress. Only negative is the midges near the beach and the walk to the village
Great little site in a great location, close to beach and beach bar. Site has a bar and restaurant, food looked good when we were having a drink there. Well stocked shop and fresh bread can be ordered in reception.
This site is very well placed for visiting the local town and beaches.
Reception was efficient, we had a choice of pitches using our ACSI card. The pitch was ideal for a 7m Motorhome. The site has some great facilities, very good sports, swimming pool, restaurant, car wash, animation etc.
The pool and restaurant closed this weekend at the end of Sept, not sure when the restaurant reopens, but people are starting to arrive for the winter.
A very well kept, tidy site, high standards, recommended
We stayed 4 nights here and enjoyed it, spoiled only by a sloppy reception upon leaving.
This is a big site with plenty of facilities and good sized pitches, some of them with hardstandings. It seems to be a haven for long-term over-winter Brits, but there are plenty of other long term residents and we were between two Finns. The site is about a 15-20 minute walk to the attractive little town of Conil, and at the bus station you can get a direct bus to Cadiz that is very cheap.
The walking and surroundings are good, the restaurant gave us a good meal, and there seems to be a lot of activities going on with the long term residents.
When leaving we wanted to get away early for a long journey north, so we're at reception at 8.55am waiting for it to open at 9. Everyone was late, and it took ages, which was annoying. Not even an apology!
Booked to spend 6 weeks here Dec-Jan but stayed 4 months. Great tidy site, excellent staff, bar and restaurant also good. Conil de la Frontera is a decent walk away and a proper Spanish town with more beach than you need. Lots of regular over wintering people here. Yes you pay for electricity but even after running up €135 electricity bill in the first month it still only worked out at €19 a night including the pitch. We went over to Spanish gas and the electric bill dropped to €14 a month. The gas was delivered to our pitch too. Nothing is too much trouble here. Will return next winter without a doubt. By far the best site in the area...we visited the others and none came close to this one
Second visit to his site and standards have been maintained, great site, well set out with amazing facilities, the pool area is fantastic, would definitely recommend this site.
The only down side to this site is that you have to pay with cash as card payment are not excepted, also you are only allowed four units of electricity per day, enough to run a fridge basically and not much more, over that you have to pay extra.
