Well appointed site on a hill about a mile outside Conil. Pitches are sloping and covered in gravel. Nice high hedges between. There are also some nice looking bungalows at the top of the site. 2x laundries large car / van wash. Pool was closed. Kids playground & outside gym equipment. There\'s a library that was popular.
We\'ve just spent 3 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The site is almost full of over - wintering older northern Europeans, some return every year. There is a good restaurant and bar open 6 days a week through the winter. Shop is only open 9 - 12 and has limited stock (may be winter hours) there are supermarkets within a mile. We walked every day, the beach is about 1.5 miles away with bars and restaurants aplenty. We caught a bus to Cadiz from the town bus station (camp reception staff supplied a timetable which was a lifesaver!) The camp site organised a bus trip to Sevilla which was great. There weren\'t enough takers for a Gibraltar trip which was disappointing.
Toilets and showers (4 blocks in total) are kept spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water. Timer on the showers - 7 minutes, nice big cubicles.
Usual nocturnal Spanish cacophony of cockerels & dogs - plus owls (which I don\'t mind). Earplugs essential.
The area is prone to be quite windy which affects temperatures.
