This site is in need of a refurb, the pool is missing tiles and dirty, the toilets are filthy and don’t feel clean, the pitches are weed ridden, there is litter all over the site and not good value for money. On the plus side the beach is a 10 min walk and is beautiful to stroll along on a evening and some nice bars close by within 10-30 min walk.

This is a nice enough site, perfect for a couple of days stay. It was quiet when we visited in early June, not sure about weekends though as a large local group were setting up as we leaving.
Pitch size is generous and most are gently sloping surrounded by low hedging. Shade isn’t in abundance but a few pitches have artificial shade if your unit can fit underneath. The best shade is taken by numerous long stay units. Sanitation is good, although you might need to try the showers before you get a good one as some were tepid with low pressure. There are very few water stand points and what came out didn’t taste too good so we reverted to bottle water. The pool is nice complete with loungers.
Previous reviewers have mentioned the naturist site. As a ‘textil’ you probably wouldn’t realise that section of the site exists, but walk to the local beach and the urbanisation immediately south/west of Palomares and it’s a very different story. If nudity offends you then you might want to avoid that area as it’s completely normal for people to swim, sunbathe, eat/drink in the cafes/restaurants and walk along the local streets without wearing clothes. Naturism seems to be the main reason why most people are in that area.

Not impressed when we arrived, on this site, it was like little Britain, but the long termers had parked there cars and put washing lines on pitches which wasn’t there’s, the showers were good but it was pot luck, there was loads of hot water and plugs in the sinks, all these sites say please save water so why don’t other sites do this, after a few days we grew to like this site, there’s a supermarket nearby but not walking distance local market on Sunday, will use this site again..

We intended staying two nights but stayed five. Has a lovely community feel. Beach was lovely and ten minutes walk. Cycling was brilliant and lots to explore. Fabulous size pitch and s very relaxed and relaxing site. Would definitely come here again.

Dropped on this site purely by luck. Good size pitches , friendly staff and yes toilets are a bit dated but clean with plenty of hot water for showers , washing etc. Would definitely come back.

Nice size pitches, you can walk to the sea, probably 15-20 mins. There is a bar/restaurant across the road. Supermarket 5 mins in the car, and plenty of restaurants in the area. It’s a very English community, with Consum and Iceland selling virtually everything from home you could need. The disabled shower/toilet is on the nudist part of the campsite, but didn’t cause a problem for us. It was very quiet on the site during April,May and in September, you can choose your pitch, and most times there are only a handful of other people on site, I believe it gets busy from October through to March, with winter sun seekers. Good value for money, although be careful with the electric,it’s only 6 amp.

We have stayed here twice, both times in low season so not at all busy, most people stayed only a few days. The pitches are mostly quite large, but all the site is on limestone? So can be dusty. Toilets are clean and adequate. There is a naturist part as well, but well screened so won’t cause embarrassment, although the disabled facilities are in the naturist part, which we had to use for our daughter, and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for some time. There is a small bar restaurant very close, the beach is within walking distance, Vera playa and consum supermarket 5 mins in car, probably 15-20 mins walk. Only 6 amp electric. We would return again.

We found this site to be very pleasant, the pitches were good sized but why do people insist on parking their cars and putting up washing lines on neighbouring pitches, stopping new arrivals from choosing them??!! The facilities were dated but clean with plenty of hot water. Site wifi very good.
The naturist side was very discreet we didn't really notice it.
Plenty of easy cycling, definitely go there again.

Brilliant cycling. There are some lovely cycling rides from here in particular to Mojacar Pueblo. Good showers always had hot water and they were clean.

Wife and I stayed here for 3 nights.
Pitches very spacious and private (unlike some of the camps cramming you in to generate more revenue) with friendly laid back atmosphere.
My wife was a bit hesitant because of the Naturist section, but for all Non Naturist you would know it was there!
