This is a really excellent site, a little oasis in the Cabo de Gata desert. Plenty to see locally. The site facilities are good and the pitches flat, clean, generous and shaded. If you intend to visit in early June like us, I suggest you check that there will not be hundreds of school children staying in the cabins right next to the pitches. I love kids - we have 3 of our own - but it is not acceptable to have the noise and the poor supervision from very early to very late, with gangs of them running through your pitch.

With very good pitches, facilities, staff, available information, and quality free WiFi this site rates highly. However, for us, these features combined with the superb location elevate Los Escullos to a level that belies it\'s component facets. As cyclists (gravel bikes) who enjoy remote beaches and coves off the beaten track the options seem endless. Most of these places are also accessible by car and motorcycle (sometimes a camper van) combined with a short walk. Coming with an intention of staying 5 days and staying 10 is a massive commendation from us.

Lovely value for money site. Nice staff. Need more/updated sanitaries but a smashing site they are obviously on a mission to improve the site and doing a great job, the new pool is superb.Would recommend and return but stock up on meat before coming if you have limited transport available.

Stayed here to visit the area which is beautiful! Booked for 3 nights to begin with and ended up staying ten!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful both in the reception, bar, shop and on site!
Spaces easynto get into and given the opportunity to choose our own pitch!
The toilets/showers and all public areas were exceptionally clean.
The swimming pool was beautiful, although alittle cold due to the time of year!
We visited lots of the beautiful it's and little towns around the area, they are very accommodating towards campervans..
Would definitely visit again and recommend it as a site.

What a jewel this campsite is? If only it could have non stop sunshine and be set alongside a sandy beach like the one at nearby San Jose it would get rave reviews and be rated as exceptional. However, then it would lose its' desert appeal as it would be swamped with clientele and full up all the time. As it is the facilities on offer come highly rated with 20amp electricity and brilliant WiFi but the location can only be described as very natural and isolated with the nearest Supermarket some 12 miles away. The water provided is desalinated and therefore care must be taken to flush out Alde heating systems regularly with fresh water. There is a shop on site that provides for bread and croissants and most of the necessary essentials but it falls short of the feel good factor of a Mercadona or a LIdl such as are located at San Isidro.
The staff at the Oasis Bar are nothing short of wonderful with character and personalities to match and the ladies at Reception are very attentive and will do everything they can to help out in resolving a problem. Special mention has to be made regarding the barman Xavi with Elena and Lola at the Oasis. They are just GREAT! I would also like to mention the cooks from the kitchen but I did not learn their names.
What a find this Campsite is. Well done to all who make it so well organised!! Just GREAT!!

We have enjoyed our stay here. Superbly run campsite in a stunning location, about eight km from San Jose where you will find supermarkets and restaurants. It is also near to La Isleta, a small fishing village along the coast with plenty of restaurants. Pitches are large with water and some shade if required. Full uninterrupted wifi coverage across the site. Will be back.

Decided to come here on the 7 for 6 night stay and it was on our way to the south... We are very glad we did. The site is quiet due to being November... Lovely and clean with excellent bathroom, washing facilities etc and the pitches are great also with own water next to our van. Very quiet at night I guess this is because it low season. We would defiantly come back when passing this area again.... Thank you for a lovely week.

Arrived here mid September on the basis of reviews on this app and the fact that it was in a national park. Well the campsite is reasonable but we were very disappointed as soon as we left the site and walked down to the beach. It looked like there had been a festival and no one had bothered to clear up afterwards with the amount of rubbish everywhere.

Once past the poly tunnels and into the park it is a great spot.
Site very busy when we were there as it was May Day Bank holiday, but then rest of week very quiet. Half the site was closed as they are redoing the pitches and updating sanitary facilities. Will be much improved, looked like where our pitch was, has been done.
Whole site was very clean and tidy. Walk to the village but little there, but surrounding beaches and villages fantastic. Much preferred this side of the peninsular for scenery. Amazing views. Good walks some difficult as were the bike trails, so worth chatting to other campers for their opinions. Would stay again.

The best site in the area, stunning scenery, good walking. Sometimes a lack of hot water at the sinks. Facilities could perhaps do with refreshing. Included internet responsive. Will return for sure.
