Las instalaciones son muy nuevas y de gran calidad. Se esfuerzan en tenerlo todo muy cuidado y limpio. Parcelas de arena y sombra de árboles o toldos. Hay muchas actividades para niños que están muy bien.

Excellent campsite for a few days relaxing! It’s in the nature reserve and away from big resorts. Can walk to the beach, no amenities at the beach though. Campsite has everything you need, shop, nice bar and restaurant. We couldn’t use the pool as it wasn’t open until the weekend. Nice hot showers. Would recommend.

Totally refurbished toilet / shower block. No more smells . Staff as helpful as ever. Bar /restaurant great value.

just left after 4 nights. new shower/toilet block, fantastic. all pitches quite small. we have 8m of caravan with bikes on rear and really struggled to get onto and off a pitch as many were closed due to works. also very close to our neighbours. however, the bar had happy hour from 6 to 7pm, great food especially the pizza and most nights, 2 great bar guys. Wed night not so good as bar mgr obviously did not want to be there, never smiled and put us off wanting to be there... the pool was brilliant. ignore the plastic coming in as once at site, the views, scenery, local walks to beaches and cycling to San Jose just excellent. a real gem of an area to visit.

I really liked this site. I didn’t think it was scruffy like some people said. The pitches are quite big, the facilities numerous and clean, the bar is great, the pool wonderful and the staff are friendly. The only negatives are the teenagers but then don’t pitch near the tents! And if you choose your pitch carefully there are views. The shop could be better - no milk and poor quality fruit and vegetables. But at least it had a shop! Good croissants in the morning. We came for two days and stayed four. Would return.

Pitches are tight. Can be very noisy when the huts are occupied.

A beautifully laid out site with each roadway with a decorative tile naming it after a beach. We were told the pool was cold, but we used the sun lounging area around it. We tried to walk to the beach but couldn\'t find our way down the network of rough paths (I had a stitched up knee). Los Escullos is a fascinating beach although it was very windy when we visited, it is quite coarse sand. Helpful staff.

We visited in winter and found this a really pleasant, peaceful site (despite being almost full) in stunning surroundings. The new loo and shower block is excellent, very clean and a huge improvement on most other sites we\'ve experienced in Spain. The site itself has marked pitches divided by hedges and plenty of trees but ample winter sunshine. The gravel pitches are fairly generous but there is a slight lack of turning space, which can make it awkward to get in and out of the pitches. However, every pitch has water connection as well as electricity. We had a major problem whilst staying here when our electrics completely failed and we then ran out of gas, we were to discover that we couldn\'t get a Spanish canister as they and the connections are very different to those in the UK (and other European countries as well). We were able to plug in a UK extension cable using an adaptor in the two-pin Shuko socket which is provided, in addition to the usual Commando connection, which really helped.

The star of the show here is Cabo de Gata itself, which is an absolutely gorgeous haven in a region full of those ubiquitous poly tunnels. Once you\'ve arrived here on the north side of the national park there is not a piece of polythene or rubbish in sight. The mountains and hills are beautiful and carpeted in wild thyme and lavender, with many options for walking dogs on numerous pathways around the area, as well as the beach.

The restaurant is open in winter, and serves acceptable food, though the service can be a bit erratic. There is a rubbish and recycling area and the grey water is treated and re-used.

We came for a few days and stayed 2 weeks, and would definitely return to this site.
