Great Pool , friendly Stuff and Shorts Walk to the Beach.

We went to this campsite 3.-25.March 2023. Facilities very good, the restaurant excellent, the staff was friendly and swift.

We stayed there for 3 weeks in March, and we got the pitch we booked some months ago. Very effiicent and friendly staff, clean and tidy servicehouses.
AND very good and delicious meals at the restaurant.
Short walk/bike path to the village Balerma for foodstore and other restaurants.
Nice walks at the nearby beach. Available washing/drying machines.
We were very pleasant with the stay!

Wir waren mit unserem Camper-Van im Oktober für drei Tage auf dem Platz. Der Stellplatz war ausreichend groß mit Strom- und Wasseranschluss. Sehr viel deutsche Überwinterer mit großen Linern auf dem Platz. Direktes Umfeld nicht so schön. Viele Plastik-Gewächshäuser. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren entlang der Küste. Schwimmbad war geschlossen

this is a lovely site very close to a small beach. the facilities are excellent. the pitches are gravel and mainly flat. some pitches are quite small. The town is a ten minute walk with a supermarket and local shops, the weekly market is very good. the coastal cycle/footpath has bars and restaurants. almerimar is a 15 minute cycle ride away along a fairly quiet coast road. it has more bars and restaurants and a busy port.

One of our favourite sites, not been for three years, pleased to say standards have not dropped. Super clean toilets and a fantastic good size swimming pool. Stony beach over the road, deserted when we were there. Short cycle or walk to Consum supermarket in the small local town of Balerma. Cycle the other way for about 7km and there is a lovely marina, harbour and beach of Almerimar.

we have stayed here previously. the pitches are various sizes and flat pea gravel. pitches are hedged and hedging is well maintained. the toilet/showers are immaculate copious hot water in showers laundry and dishwashing area, all of which are meticulously cleaned several times each day. the large pool is distant from the pitching areas as is the well equipped laundry. the shop/bar/restaurant is very popular. weekend are particularly busy with many Spanish families. long stay discounts apply for the winter months but on enquiring I was told January and February were both totally sold out.

The site is fine. Well laid out with excellent toilets and showers that are hot and powerful. Our 7.2 metre motorhome had enough room on the pitch with plenty of space for the awning. As mentioned elsewhere it\'s very popular with the Germans and some enormous motorhomes. Didn\'t check the beach, which appears to be the main attraction. We cycled to Almerimar which has a large marina and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Off road was a bit rough with some sandy sections that bought us to a halt. Stuck to the road which links to a proper paved cycle path at Almerimar. The area is covered in plastic greenhouses so don\'t go looking for scenic views.

overnight stay but the facilities are very good. restaurant open but didn’t visit. pitches a decent size. toilet and washing facilities excellent and well kept, the positives out weigh the negatives as some people expect everything all the time. would definitely stay again.

Found the site to be clean and tidy and all the staff very friendly water electric and gray waste on each pitch ,pick your pitch well depending on how much sun or shade you require as the pitches are shaded by palm trees especially in the winter,I was also the only English moterhome Amongst the giant German land cruisers here for the winter this was not a problem as I found the majority to be friendly don’t be put off by the approach which is a dirty disaster city off plastic it has no reflection on the site. Good dog walking directly opposite the site.
