Campsite La Garrofa is a campsite with 100 touring pitches. During low season, between 01-01-2019 - 30-06-2019 and 15-09-2019 - 31-12-2019, the nightly rate is €18,- at one of the 100 touring pitches at Campsite La Garrofa in Almería (Almería).
Small and friendly campsite; lovely location, right by the sea so that you can sleep to the rhythm of the waves. With some luck you will see dolphins. Well-shaded in parts. The bus to Almería stops outside the campsite.

Stayed here for four nights, small site in small bay, no problem with access as our van only 6.5m long, restaurant ok, drinks reasonable price, facilities a little dated but cleaned regularly, the beach is not sandy. Some of the permanent \"cottages\" a bit dilapidated and run down, however close to Almeria (bus stops on road outside campsite) some good walks through the mountains. Will stop here again.
Friendly site by beach. Buses at entrance. Good cafe/bar with food.
Shaded pitches with good facilities. We will go back to this site!
Stayed here for 3 nights. Fabulous location. Staff extra helpful and friendly.
Saturday evening karaoke was great fun.
Drinks good value.
Didn\'t try the restaurant.
Toilet and shower block, although could do with updating, were very clean and well cared for.
Getting onto the site can be a little tricky as it\'s in a bay/cove and fairly steep!
We will definitely stay here again and would have stayed longer if not on our travels.
Look forward to next year when we can stay longer.
Cannot commenting the accommodation as we are in our campervan.
We stayed 1 night here, the site was a bit tight for a larger vehcle 7.5m but the staff were helpful and recommended which pitch would be easier to access. The facilities were dated and basic but there was plentiful hot water and it was cleaned regularly. We found the beach restricted and not too inviting and walked in the hills which were picturesque despite the jettisonned builders waste. We didnt have an issue with cats as the dog was with us and we found the other site residents to be friendly and chatty. Overall the feeling of being in the valley and not having open space made us move on.
Small campsite which is ideal for a sightseeing trip to nearby Almeria....the pitches are small and quite difficult to access.
The facilities are old but clean.
Extremely poor site with no interest at all from staff. Peeling paint and broken canopies, very small uneven pitches and showers akin to victorian baths. Feels dirty and seedy and buses
hardly running due to rock blocking road for TWO MONTHS. Don't try it as the owners dont give a damn.
This is a very small and scruffy looking site with very old toilet/shower facilities. It's located right on a small pebble beach which is also a bit scruffy. We only stayed for one night as we were travelling but the staff were very friendly and the toilets/showers were clean and worked very well. We woke to a lovely bright sea view and enjoyed our stay.
Very small pitches, campsite full of feral cats, very old toilet block, cold showers, pitches get muddy when raining, small stoney beach, feels like a 60s hippy site, lots of main road noise.
Very old worn out facilities, pitches suitable size for tents, cold showers. Shop and restaurant rarely open. There are many feral cats roaming the campsite in the rubbish bins etc. There is a small stoney beach and a steep climb uphill to the main road bus stop. There is lots of main road noise on the campsite. Ok if you want a hippy camp site sixties style with very old basic facilities. Paid Wi Fi
works sometimes if not many using it.
Good - right on the beach and good clean facilities.
Less good - quite a lot of road noise. Very small pitches and very close together. Restaurant unreliable - just didn't open at times.
Nice people at reception.
