A fantastic little site in a very quiet location and full of bird song. The pitches are a very good size, and most are level and on a gravel hard standing. The attention to detail from the manager and his team is second to none. The toilet/showers are immaculate and the whole site is maintained to a very high standard. My only criticism, and it is mainly directed at other campers, is that the only water supply is located at the motor home service point. There are two taps and hoses clearly marked, one for topping up water and one for cleaning toilet cassettes etc, as I was about to go and top up my water container I saw another user cleaning his toilet cassette with the drinking water hose. It kind of puts you off, fortunately I had my own hose which I clipped on.

What a site, our first stop in Slovenia and so glad we did. Small but immaculately maintained with spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Gravel pitch. Very peaceful night after a glass or two of local wine purchased at reception.

Evaluating any service is always a bit subjective because it involves different perceptions and perspectives. Anyway, Camp David is ideal for us as a couple in late middle age. Quiet, clean and very functional sanitary facilities, friendly staff and a wide range of opportunities nearby to enjoy nature (hiking, mountain and road biking). There are also plenty of opportunities for culinary indulgence nearby. We will certainly visit this campsite many times

Perfectly small place

Excellent little campsite. We stopped for one night as it was convenient for the Postjiana Caves and castle. Some pitches were in full sun, some were under trees. But we were allowed to choose where we wanted to pitch. The toilets were immaculate and modern. Some of the best we’ve encountered. However I gave a score of 4 for the loos and showers as there wasn’t enough of them (2 men 2 ladies ). It wasn’t a problem when we were there as the site had only about 10 pitches taken, but if it was busier there could be issues. The young lady in reception was a real credit to the site. She was friendly and welcoming. They sold local wine and beer at reception and they even sold pizzas to go, until about 7PM and you can order bread for the morning. There’s a small sun terrace where you can relax too. All in all a fantastic little campsite with clean facilities.

spotless modern facilities, friendly staff and reception , good plot sizes , I hope people respect how good the quality of shower toilet facilities are , a good base we enjoyed our four nights allowing us to explore the area on motorcycles
