This site has improved tremendously going by previous reviews. There are now plenty of hard standings and new electric hook up points. A third toilet block was being finished when we stayed. The shower blocks have underfloor heating. The restaurant serves good food and has an excellent choice of beer, according to my husband! A new decked area facing the lake with ice cream bar should be open on April 30th. Shop has good range of food etc and bread man visits every morning.Endorse all previous positive comments especially location.

This was our first trip to Slovenia and I can\'t praise the site or the area around it enough. A wonderful site with very helpful staff. On arrival a member of staff escorted us around the site to show us the available pitches and we picked one of the ones at the bottom of the site, close to the amazing lake. The shower blocks were very modern and clean with plenty of hot water. A lovely touch was the little cart which toured round the site each morning delivering a fabulous selection of bread and pastries - you can even order a picnic basket. The bar/restaurant overlooks the fabulous beach/lawn on the side of the lake. The site can get busy, but never noisy - there was plenty of room for sports and children\'s activities away from the pitches. On top of a great site there is the constant view of Lake Bled with the snow capped mountains and the area is very easy to explore from the site on foot or by car, Don\'t forget to try the Bled Cake - a local specialty.

Wat een fijne camping en wat een rust heerst daar. Je hoort er geen auto verkeer. We werden keurig ontvangen. Een plekje werd ons toegewezen de wasruimte netjes schoon en alles was heel we hebben elke dag genoten van de camping en de omgeving

Stayed one night. Staff were busy, but friendly and efficient. Lovely quiet site with good facilities and great walks. Fresh bread was available from a barrow in the morning. Didn’t try the restaurant but the shop was very well stocked.

as stated a good site for yhe location . its the only one on lake bled however drainage is an issue. we arrived in rain and as said before it floods. there's a stream one side and tue ground has a high water table. power outlets are spread about so you need long leads . Having said that its a great clean site all toilet blocks open . It is mid sept so the site has been used a lot and just had a huge rowing competition. The site just needs some tweeking to be 5 star.

A super location. When we arrived it had been raining heavily some time before hence quite a lot of pitches were muddy! A great walk or cycle ride around the lake. Stayed 3 days

This campsite has good facilities and is well placed for visiting Bled. It’s alongside the Lake and you can take a boat to the island or the main town. There is a road “tourist train “that stops outside the campsite and circum navigates the lake, stopping at a number of places. The restaurant and bar are good value and serve a reasonable range of meals. It looks like there have been a lot of gravel hardstandings installed in the last few months and, even though there had been a lot of rain, we did not experience any issues with muddy pitches. I have two criticisms. We enjoy camping in the fresh air. Sadly, due to the provision of wood fire heated outdoor hot tubs in the glamping area we were smoked out both days. The site is in a valley so smoke can accumulate. It might have been possible to move further up the site but we moved on. Secondly, the 1 euro per day “registration fee” in addition to the tourist tax and ACSI price is a bit cheeky.

Stopped here for a couple of nights. The site is very busy. We were given a good hard standing pitch near the front of the site which was great once we had sorted out with our neighbours where their pitch ended and ours started! Even in heavy rain it drained relatively well and we had no problems with flooding etc. The toilet and shower facilities are very modern and very clean. Full marks for them. There is a sunbathing lawn with free sunbeds on the lake in front of the campsite which was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. We used the bar and the restaurant. We found the food in the restaurant very disappointing - plain and very dry. The land train around the lake stops just outside the campsite and goes to Bled. A good way of seeing the lake if you haven\'t got the legs to do the walk.

Campsite spread out along a wooded valley rising up from the western end of lake Bled. Pitches on different levels give it a somewhat jumbled, informal feel, especially at the end furthest from the lake, although actually it is well planned and each pitch is numbered (albeit not very clearly). If rain is expected (we had it in abundance), avoid pitches that look prone to flooding and bogginess. The facilities block we used seemed quite new, and were kept clean, but broken lights in one part of the block were not repaired during our stay. Friendly, helpful reception staff, large restaurant (which we didn't use) and a decent shop at the entrance. The walk around Lake Bled is lovely - approx 4 miles.

Arrived just after lunch and by 4pm the site was full. This is obviously first stopover site into Slovenia. The pitches are very small and the one we were allocated had a tree which limited fitting in the motor home. We really need to saw of some branches. We were given the option to change, but all I wanted to do was have a cold beer. The lake side position is fabulous but unfortunately the thunderstorm late afternoon and evening sent everyone running for cover. We would have stayed longer had the weather forecast been good. Toilet facilities were new but due to the rain lots of muddy foot prints on the floors, even though a shoe washing trough was provided outside. Would go back
