Stayed one night. Staff were busy, but friendly and efficient. Lovely quiet site with good facilities and great walks. Fresh bread was available from a barrow in the morning. Didn’t try the restaurant but the shop was very well stocked.
Our third stop here in 5 years. It\\\'s a must if you are in the area. Stunning scenery, and a lot to do and see. We like to walk so the iconic brochure view of Bled from the hill viewpoint is a must on each visit. Less than a mile from the campsite but the phone said we has climbed 50 floors! Also close is Vintgar Gorge, for walkers there is a 5 mile circular route starting at St Katarina\\\'s church in Zasip. If you try this walk park by the Pizzerija just up from the church, but be aware the access road through Zasip is rather tight. The toilet blocks are all good but the block halfway up the hill on the right is heated. You can also visit the castle, the island on the lake with its church as well as many other places. The campsite is good value but the tourist tax this year is €3.13 per person per night, something I think people should be warned about.
Wat een fijne camping en wat een rust heerst daar. Je hoort er geen auto verkeer. We werden keurig ontvangen. Een plekje werd ons toegewezen de wasruimte netjes schoon en alles was heel we hebben elke dag genoten van de camping en de omgeving
It is such a popular destination that this site had to be good so as not to spoil the whole experience. Lovely little shady plots with hedges and shrubs offered privacy and scenic worthiness!
Good bar/restaurant overlooking the lake was a bonus. Cycles useful on site and around the lake
This was our first trip to Slovenia and I can\'t praise the site or the area around it enough. A wonderful site with very helpful staff. On arrival a member of staff escorted us around the site to show us the available pitches and we picked one of the ones at the bottom of the site, close to the amazing lake. The shower blocks were very modern and clean with plenty of hot water. A lovely touch was the little cart which toured round the site each morning delivering a fabulous selection of bread and pastries - you can even order a picnic basket. The bar/restaurant overlooks the fabulous beach/lawn on the side of the lake. The site can get busy, but never noisy - there was plenty of room for sports and children\'s activities away from the pitches. On top of a great site there is the constant view of Lake Bled with the snow capped mountains and the area is very easy to explore from the site on foot or by car, Don\'t forget to try the Bled Cake - a local specialty.
Lovely site, good location. Helpful reception, nice toilet shower block. Easy walk into town along lake. Pleasant walk to complete lake circuit. Good selection of bars and restaurants.
Set in an idyllic location amongst trees the bottom end of the site is well layed out with defined pitches mostly of gravel, however the upper part of the site is somewhat chaotic and a bit of a free for all. On arrival we were dealt with very efficiently and immediately directed to head to the chaotic area and find a place easier said than done and after a long drive I really didn\'t need the additional stress of driving round and round looking for somewhere to park! Having said all of that, the sanitary facilities were first class and always clean, we were on the shores of lake Bled with a swimming/beach area with direct views of the iconic island and on the tourist train route which takes you round the lake and into Bled.
Stopped here for a couple of nights. The site is very busy. We were given a good hard standing pitch near the front of the site which was great once we had sorted out with our neighbours where their pitch ended and ours started! Even in heavy rain it drained relatively well and we had no problems with flooding etc. The toilet and shower facilities are very modern and very clean. Full marks for them. There is a sunbathing lawn with free sunbeds on the lake in front of the campsite which was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. We used the bar and the restaurant. We found the food in the restaurant very disappointing - plain and very dry. The land train around the lake stops just outside the campsite and goes to Bled. A good way of seeing the lake if you haven\'t got the legs to do the walk.
Stayed here in June 18, great location on Lake Bled walk out of the site gate and you are at the lake. Great walking and cycling round the lake. Toilets we used were good another block opening soon will be new. Many pitches very small and tight access to some, pitches at the far end of the site nearly all on grass many very boggy when it rains, entry part of the site now has gravel pitches. Very few drinking water points around the site. Would gladly return providing gravel pitch available
The site was excellent and all facilities where exceptionally clean and tidy it certainly lived up to its five star status The food was good and the service was prompt couldnt find fault and we will definitely using this one again as the views where amazing excellent place to watch the sun set over bled
