A lovely wooded campsite overlooking the river Lima. Very peaceful. Small emplacements and not many suitable for large outfits. The staff our friendly and will help with local walks. Details of these walks are on the notice board. The facilities are clean but showers and washbasins are cold. More water taps would be helpful. Washing up and hand washing clothes is done in cold water. The washing machine is permanently set at 60c. The restaurant serves a varied menu. The campsite is set amongst beautiful pine trees so a lot of the emplacements have some shade if need it. A lovely area to stay lots of stunning walks and villages to visits.

Lovely quiet campsite in beautiful natural setting. OK so the pitches aren’t exactly level but there is plenty of space.
The reception staff were all friendly and helpful and the sanitary facilities were clean and efficient. The bar and restaurant were exceptional.
Good walking / cycling from the site.
Would thoroughly recommend this site.

A lovely wooded campsite. Everything spotless. Even the loos had seats. The restaurant was the best campsite one I’ve every been to. Shop very limited in October but alternatives close enough. Fresh bread daily.

We stayed here for one night and thought it was a pleasant campsite. There are good walks from the campsite and reception can provide maps. Whilst the rest of the staff were helpful, the cleaner was extremely unpleasant and rude to us.
Unfortunately the showers are not great, no toilet roll or soap in any of the toilets and you cannot flush toilet paper.

nice entrance for 14 metre outfit however a bit hap hazard when inside. Pitch where you like but not many flat pitches for an 8.5 metre caravan. Lots of trees and shade and a choice of amps up to 16. restaurant very popular and good prices. Facilities spotless and cleaned often. We thought there would be a lot if flies as it\'s near water but there were surprisingly few.

This was a lovely site in the woodland. It wasn’t busy and you could choose your pitch anywhere you liked. We stayed here for two nights in order to visit the nearby National Parque. Lindoso and Nossa Senhora da Peneda in the National Park are well worth a visit. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were shut so we couldn’t sample this aspect. The surrounding area is beautiful with the river and the wild landscape. We found a great Super Intermarche not too far away to stick up with provisions. Would recommend this site for its proximity to the National Parque.

Stayed here in October 2017. Nice wooded site with a good restaurant. Facilities were good and went an all day walk that t
reception told us about.

Lovely, peaceful campsite amongst pine trees set above river. Very friendly, welcoming. A number of levelled, individual shady and spacious pitches for campervans, plus areas for tents. The layout gives the site an informal feel. For 3 nights (ACSI rate) excellent value. 2 toilet blocks, but we only tried one. In that one, the women's side was tired and outdated but the men's had recently been refurbished to a high standard, and was consistently clean. Toilet paper not provided. Only niggle was lack of hot water for washing up, which it turns out is quite common in Portugal. Little shop in reception - very limited stock, although the supply of camping gaz cylinders was reassuring. Small shop nearby in the village, better stocked. Excellent restaurant on site: menu not extensive, but what they did, they did well, with generous portions. A great place to stay in a lovely part of Portugal.

We stayed at Lima escape in our little campervan, the site itself is lovely, a mix of leveled pitches, natural pitches for motor homes, caravans and tents. All under lovely pine trees. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we were given lots of information regarding the local area and things to do. Sadly we were not there at the hight of the season and were unable to rent out canoes or kayaks but we were put in contact with someone doing paddle boarding. We took them up and had a great morning, the location is perfect for getting on the water. The amenitys were excellent. The on site restaurant was great value, the daily plans at lunchtime being exceptionaly so. Sadly the shop was a little low on supplies but again we were nit there during there busy season and there was a mini mart just across the road. Bread could be ordered from the shop and it was lovely. I highly recommend this campsite.
