A beautiful campsite and I can see how it’s won Portugals best campsite a few years in a row. Fantastic shower, toilet, dishwashing facilities, they have a big building available so you are never waiting. Big spacious pitches. Great pool and loungers. Easy walk to the seafront and into the town.

Despite complaining about WiFi not reaching out pitch nothing was done about it. kept giving excuses. I did one final complaint when leaving and their I T guy was there and he said he knew about it and new extenders were being fitted the following week. we had been fobbed off with loads of different excuses during our stay.
Also the restaurant was closed the week we stayed, we weren't informed of this and when I complained they said that there is a bar down on the beech. I have mobility issues!

We weren't informed restaurant would be closed during our stay and we could not get any WiFi. maintenance man also couldn't get any WiFi on our pitch. we informed them that our caravan was 7.5m long and being pulled by a Landrover Discovery yet the pitch we were given involved uncoupling to get van around corners. This wasn't down to bad driving as we had maintenance man plus many other caravaners try helping us and they all said it couldn't be done from the direction reception told us to go.

Do not come to this site! I want it all to myself!!
It’s a nice friendly site. Some pitches are on a slightly sloping pitch. be careful on the route you choose when travelling from the A2, the road is very uneven in places, take your time.

This is by far the best campsite I have stayed at in Portugal and Porto Covo itself is the perfect sleepy village for beach lovers.

Great location and beautiful campground, perfectly taken care of, super friendly staff! Pool is phenomenal as is the restaurant. Showers and toilet super clean!

we stayed at this site for 10 days, as a ACSI award winning we felt it it was safe to stay that long. the toilet amenities were 5 star, the pitches were large as we asked for but came out more expensive per night, it's a lovely site so had no problem paying the extra. would we stay there again no, for a number of reasons. the resort is one street, Vasco de Gamma, it has several bar restaurants which are self service bars especially and you pay via a machine and prices were reasonable

the campsite has fabulous facilities, everything you could wish for plus friendly staff. it’s immaculate. with ACSI choice of A or B location pitches. A area is under trees, smaller pitches and felt cramp and many small children/families but good if you want shade. Area B much nicer, huge pitches, some you pay extra for, but I could not see the difference. all pitches in B have individual water. the swimming pool is lovely with lots of free sun beds.warm dog showers
