This site is beautifully located and is very well maintained. It is a very rural location but the roads were good, even if the access road is step. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. Pitches were big. Stayed three nights passing through the area, but would happily stay longer.

lovely campsite very friendly hosts. set in rolling hills of national park . good cycling on quiet roads but very grateful for e bikes. restaurant good basic Portugueses food . bathrooms clean and hot showers pool looked lovely but too cold for me in May. throughly recommend

Stayed one night on way back from Portugal to catch ferry from Santander. Lovely site in woodland a little way out from Braganca, with is worth a visit too, for its walled castle (there is an aire for parking just bellow)
The site is made up of fairly level pitches off tracks. Well maintained and clean. Even music in the washrooms. We only had a snack, but the restaurant looked inviting and had good recommendations from other campers. Pool too looked inviting. Lots of walking trails in woods and surrounding farmland.
All in all a very pleasant stay, and would be happy to use site again.

This campsite is well worth it. It’s like wild camping with an impeccable shower block and very good bar/restaurant nearby. The site is rural and reflects its rural location. you need a car to reach the park’s interior. This is probably the best Portuguese or Spanish site I’ve stayed on.

This is a very nice campsite in the forest with pitches on the lower flat level and on the terraces. The views from the terraces are lovely; plenty of shade and level.
The toilet block is worthy of its award for the best facilities in Portugal. There doesn\'t seem to be hot water at the laundry or dish washing sinks but you can fill a basin from the cleaning taps at the entrance to each toilet block and take it round.
The swimming pool area is grassed with a sun terrace and loungers. There is a toddlers\' pool and some play equipment too.
We didn\'t use the bar or we have to rate it. It seemed busy and there were children there.

this is a “rustic” site. the pitches are randomly positioned. some numbered others not. very difficult to get level. the toilet facials very good but access to them from anywhere on the site is difficult because of the uneven paths and steep slopes. some of the steps have handrails dangerously loose. we found the staff friendly. the restaurant is well positioned but also has access problems due to the many steps and sloping paths. OK for a one night stopover.

What an outstanding campsite! The setting is beautiful. Toilets and showers are spotless. A lovely log fire provided a warm welcome in the restaurant on a cool damp October evening. The food in the restaurant was excellent with a wide choice. We opted for traditional dishes and were not disappointed - excellent both in quality and value. Hope to be back!!

Wir waren im Juni auf der Durchreise für zwei Nächte auf diesem Campingplatz.
Die meisten Stellplätze befinen sich schön im Wald, bei den heißen Temperaturen ein großer Vorteil.
Die sanitären Einrichtungen sind hervorragend.
Bei einem Wohnwagen ist ein Mover von Vorteil, da das Einparken sich recht schwierig gestalten kann. Jedenfalls war das bei dem von uns ausgesuchten Platz der Fall, dafür hatten wir schönen Schatten. Das Schwimmbad ist von ausreichender Größe, ist allerdings nur über die Terrasse des Restaurant zu betreten. Nackt mit Badesachen duch speisende Gäste zu gehen ist vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache, uns hat es nicht gestört.
Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Campingplatz.
