Travelling with family and friends in touring caravans we cut our holiday short after staying at kampeerresort kijkduin due to prolific cycle thefts and contacted the site at Delftse Hout and explained our situation There were four caravans to accommodate and I cannot praise the staff highly enough They went out of their way to find spaces for us even pitching us as close together as they could The site is well kept clean and safe The staff in reception are so pleasant and obliging any thing they can do to help you they will Fully recommend this site Convenient for Delft centre Even if you\'re not a cyclist there\'s a bus stop straight outside the site which runs every 20 minutes
A lovely site, perfectly situated to visit Delft with Delftse Hout lakes also on the doorstep
This was our first stop on a tour of Europe. We wanted somewhere to relax and this really delivered. The site was well equipped and well labelled, all the staff friendly and helpful. It\'s a shame we only spent three nights, could have easily stayed much longer. very convenient for visiting Delft, what a lovely place that is. Overall 9/10
We enjoyed our stay in this excellently situated campsite. So easy for cycling and walking into beautiful Delft. The added bonus of lovely woods and a lake made it a great location for the beginning of our stay in the Netherlands. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent site within easy walking distance of Delft town centre. Delft well worth exploring - a smaller version of Amsterdam - and the Pottery factory/museum was very interesting. Plenty of trains to Amsterdam ( expensive ) and Rotterdam - only 15 minutes away so much less expensive and worth a days visit. Site is also only a 10 minute walk through woodland to IKEA for an inexpensive meal!!!
Cannot speak too highly of Gena in reception who when I needed to see a doctor drove us to the hospital, helped with the checkin and waited to bring us back to the campsite. She managed to get us there and back within an hour!! Would definitely stay again before catching the ferry to Harwich.
Excellent location, perfect for cycling, easy walk into Delft and access to Trains to Rotterdam Den Hague Amsterdam
Can recommend ham & cheese croissants from shop for breakfast
Moved here after leaving another site on the coast due to the state and unhelpful staff. Chalk and cheese, this is a beautiful site - staff were warm and welcoming and have full info toilets showers immaculate facilities great. Would recommend.
We got train to Rotterdam for the day (the station is 10min by bike and day return for 2) and the next day exploring the massive Delphe Market on the Saturday. A good base to travel by train to many places in the region.
A large commercial site, staff were friendly and helpful. The toilet, shower facilities were good and plentiful. Although we didn't take advantage of them there was a well stocked shop, cafe restaurant etc facilities for children were very good and it would make an excellent site for families. We chose the site for its proximity to Delft a city we love, it was an easy walk of 15 minutes from the camp site.
The only negative comment I would make is about the pitch sizes, they were on the small side.
Lovely site with friendly helpful English speaking staff. All facilities good but as early season some n/a. Able to walk or cycle around lake adjoining site. On edge of Delft so good for country cycle rides but only 15 minutes easy walk to town of Delft. From Central station easy to get to Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague. We went to the beach at Scheveningen with a tram/bus. Also went to Panorama Mesdeg in The Hague which was amazing. Looking forward to going back to this site as so much to do and is a first class site. Bit expensive but if you go out of season the ACSI rate is good.
