Travelling party: Couple

There is really easy access to the long sandy beach and also to a good beach bar/cafe (Paal6); the site also has a snack bar/cafe but we didn’t use it.

The pitches are quite close to each other and are grass so were quite soft when we were there but not to the extent that it gave us problems.

The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained and showers are by way of tokens (1 per day).

Plenty of local cycle paths with, again, easy access to the small town of Julianadorp where there are 4 supermarkets, bars and cafes.

The local area is stunning because of the beaches and the colourful flower fields, and you close to the town of Den Helder with its naval museum and ferry to Texel.

would thoroughly recommend this site.
