Great location, metro ride from Amsterdam all at a brilliant price! Would highly recommend!
We had a large pitch in a quiet, spacious area of the park. Would happily recommend & stay again.

Fab site for access to Amsterdam. A short walk to the metro station for regular trains into the city centre. Tickets can be bought from reception. Lots of cycle paths around a nearby park and lake with plenty of green areas. Pitches are snug but it works well and the site itself is quiet and tidy. Showers and washing area nice and clean, tokens need to be purchased for showers. Toilets are separate from the other ablution area and are quite open with ladies and gents in a row. Staff in reception laid back, slick and helpful. Site not well signposted.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Senior couple stayed 4 nights in June 19 to spend 3 days exploring Amsterdam. Very well run site, obviously busy at times so well worth booking. Only 10 mins walk to the metro for a 20 min ride into the central station. Very helpful staff in the office where we bought our tickets for the metro and museums saving a lot of time in the city. We would thoroughly recommend this site.

Excellent location with very easy access to the centre of Amsterdam via metro.

Ideal location for travelling into Amsterdam. Ten minute walk to the metro which takes you into centre of city. Shower block adequate and clean. Showers and all hot water to be paid for extra 80 cents. Reception helpful and decent site shop. Pitches generous.

This is a well-organised and well-run site. Very helpful staff with excellent language skills. The main advantage of this site is its proximity to Amsterdam centre. There is a metro stop about 5 minutes walk from the site and a short metro ride to the main station in Amsterdam. You can buy a day pass for the metro and trams from reception. This pass is good value and we used the trams to get about in Amsterdam. Reception will provide a map showing the tram routes and it easy to hop on and off and find your way about.
There is a small shop on the campsite, good for bread and milk etc.
Buy tokens at reception for showers and also for hot water for dishwashing.
There is a small bar and restaurant which looked fine, though we did not use it.

Private enclosed pitches with clean facilities. Shop and bar onsite along with defibrillator in case your not feeling too well after visiting the red light district!Would stay again.

Pros: Free Wi-fi and close, cheap metro links into the city.

Cons: Needing to buy tokens for shower AND hot water to wash pots. Really??? Never seen this before.

Stopped here on the way to the Baltic coast. Staff very helpful, pitch plenty big enough, excellent place to stay as you explore Amsterdam, easily accessible from the motorway, although the roadworks did hold us up. Would definitely use this site again.

Travelling party: Single

Large campsite in a good spot for visiting Amsterdam and surroundings, easily reached from the motorway. I stayed on the large tent field at the rear that was not too crowded in late May, and with little traffic noise. Annoyingly for some reason they kept dividing the field up by putting up rope fences that you had to step over to get to and from the toilets. Facilities are clean but not fantastic, showers with coins and no hot water at the wash basins. Staff is friendly. There is a decent site shop that also provides coffee and bread in the morning, the basic restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The metro to the city center is only a 5 minute walk away. Overall I can recommend this site if you want to camp near Amsterdam.

Have only rated facilities applicable to us. The site was perfect, great dog walking with very easy access to Amsterdam, pitches a little close together but very well maintained. Toilets good and clean. The use of shower tokens is their choice and not ours to complain about, we were aware before we booked so not a problem. We had a 48 hr Metro ticket, heading for Amsterdam, if you get off at the first stop 3 minutes there is a very good supermarket opposite the entrance to the Metro, very handy, good quality food.
