Campsite De Cauberg is a campsite with 60 touring pitches. During low season, between 22-03-2019 - 18-04-2019, 23-04-2019 - 29-05-2019, 03-06-2019 - 07-06-2019, 11-06-2019 - 06-07-2019 and 25-08-2019 - 26-10-2019, the nightly rate is €18,- at one of the 60 touring pitches at Campsite De Cauberg in Valkenburg (Limburg). At this campsite you can not only use your CampingCard ACSI for inexpensive camping, you can also use your ACSI Club ID (as an alternative ID).
A pleasant small-scale campsite in wooded surroundings on the highest point of Cauberg hill. Sunny and shaded pitches. Electricity at all pitches. New heated toilet block with good facilities. (Take-away) restaurant at 200 metres from the site. Plenty of walking opportunities in the immediate surroundings. Free wifi.

Travelling party: Seniors
20 minute steep walk into the beautiful town of Valkenburg. The showers just warm, auto lights go off too early leaving you in pitch black. Staff were helpful on arrival and maybe as it is near end of busy season that some maintenance is required.

One of the most expensive sites we have even been to. I accept that owners can levy extra charges in some case but in our groups case we were charged for everything. Even charged booking fee!! per vehicle. When I called to check availability was questioned as to why I wanted to stop and the fact that there was 5 vehicles in our group seemed to make the owner very reluctant to take us. I subsequently found out there had been problems on this and other local sites due to gypsy's but no need to give us the Spanish inquisition. Toilets are modern and clean but the 5 min shower max time is useless and often gives less than 5 mins. No hot water in toilet area sinks. Pitches were small and were wet/soft when we were there. Close to Valkenburg which is a nice place to visit. Would not return due to excessive prices.
