Beautiful 5 star campsite in wooded surroundings. Spacious pitches on a grassy field, or private pitches surrounded by trees and bushes. Underfloor heating and climate control in the toilet blocks make this an ideal winter location. Heated indoor swimming pool. Arrival after 13:00 and departure before 12:00.

Wij zijn er 2 weken geweest met eigen sanitair. Wij hebben van daaruit een aantal fietsroutes uitgestippeld. Ook het park De Hooge Veluwe bezocht. Tevens Wageningen en hotel De Wereld bezocht.

Wij zouden drie nachten verblijven op deze ANWB 5 sterren camping. We keken er naar uit en we hadden geboekt via internet van de camping. Echter, 13 september, na de 1e nacht, hebben wij de camping verlaten omdat het veel te druk is: de toiletten zijn voor 50% afgeplakt (Corona), maar wel doorgaan met een 100% vol bezette camping. Als voorbeeld, ik ben ‘s ochtends driemaal vergeefs naar het mannensanitair gelopen: bezet/vol! Ook de zeep was op, een piesgeur was aanwezig. Bij de wasbakken werd geen 1.5 m afstand gehouden. Gisteren, zagen wij verschillende gezinnen bij elkaar op bezoek, ook geen 1.5 m afstand. Kortom, absoluut niet Corona veilig. Na bovenstaande uitgelegd te hebben, dachten wij ons geld voor de 2 nachten terug te krijgen: campingbaas Harry was niet thuis voor commentaar. Zelfs niet na email. Hij liet het fijn over aan de receptioniste.

Bij aankomst op deze camping onvriendelijk te woord gestaan door de receptioniste. Vooraf betalen, geen teruggave bij eerder vertrek.. en vervolgens te horen krijgen dat honden ook in het laag seizoen niet zijn toegestaan. Na goed zoeken in de acsi app blijkt dat te kloppen.. misschien om teleurstellingen te voorkomen dit eerder in de tekst op de app te vermelden.

Prima camping om af te kicken van een 7 weekse vakantie. De Veluwe is een uitstekende fiets en wandelomgeving. Vriednelijke ontvangst. Goede plekken. Keuze tussen bosplekken en openveld plekken.

Er was een slecht WIFI bereik en dat kwam vgls. de eigenaar door de hoge bomen, maar je moest betalen; de winkel was amper open: van 08.30 tot 10.00 uur en in het weekend van 16.00 tot 17.30 uur. Het restaurant was sporadisch open; gelukkig was er een snackbar die zelfs tot 19.00 uur open was. Nee, dat is geen camping waar ik nog een keer terug ga
