A uniquely situated campsite in the sailing town of Sneek in the middle of Friesland. Includes hardened motorhome pitches and beautiful views of the yacht harbour. Modern toilet facilities. Supermarket, swimming pool and lively city centre within walking distance.

Travelling party: Group of friends
Ik ben nog nooit zo belachelijk behandeld. Op 22 augustus arriveerden wij met drie tenten op de camping. We kregen korting op een plaats, en mochten overal neerstrijken. We hadden onze tent naast de waterkant opgezet, expres uit het zicht van eventuele campers (de achterliggende camperplek was leeg). Een tweede collega kwam naar ons toe nadat we de tent hadden neergezet.
Deze meneer vroeg ons, zonder introductie: "Wat heeft u met mijn collega afgesproken?" Ik antwoordde, gelijk enigzins geagiteerd, dat zijn collega ons er van ons had verzekerd dat we overal mochten opzetten.
Gelijk kregen we naar ons hoofd "dat we niet zo maar in het zicht van de campers mochten gaan staan" (deden we niet), "dat er nog een andere camper kon komen" (het was half zeven 's avonds en er was nog meer dan genoeg plek om ergens anders campers aan de waterkant neer te zetten), en "dat we ons niet aan de regels hielden".
Ik vroeg, enigzins luid, aan mensen die voor de camper zaten of ze last van ons hadden. Dat hadden ze niet. Deze beste meneer zei "dat ik niet moest provoceren".
Dat er regels zijn is tot daar aan toe. Maar de nare toon die werd aangeslagen was ronduit misselijkmakend. We deden wat ons in eerste instantie was opgedragen.
Omdat we geen vervoer meer hadden, hebben we onze tent uiteindelijk maar verplaatst, wat verder geen probleem was.
Geachte medewerker van de camping. U had het even met uw collega kunnen opnemen wat hij had gezegd, u had met ons een gesprek kunnen aangaan, en dan waren we best voor rede vatbaar geweest.
Ronduit nare ervaring met bittere nasmaak.
