Pleasant family campsite, quietly located, surrounded by woods and within walking distance of the village of Norg. An excellent base for visiting Groningen and Friesland. At the centre of an extensive network of cycle paths and opportunities for walking. All pitches are of comfort plus standard. Modern new toilet facilities and wellness. Specific pitches are available for CampingCard ACSI.

Travelling party: Couple

Over the last three years we’ve stayed at over 100 campsites and this one us within the top two!
Very friendly and helpful staff welcome you to the site, allow you to choose your pitch, then guide you to the pitch and provide a groundsheet to keep any grass out of the van. Each pitch has electric, water and drainage points.
The sanitary facilities were exemplary, beautifully clean, plenty of toilets and showers and all housed within a wonderful thatched building which even has a large tree growing through it!
The large, indoor swimming pool (which can be opened up in good weather) was excellent: warm water to swim in.
The on-site snack bar was great (they even had gluten-free choices) and the service was very good.
The site is located about 1.5 km from the small town of Norg which has a Coop, restaurants, cafés and other shops and is surrounded by woods and a network of cycle paths. We hired bikes and spent a good day touring the interesting surroundings.
Overall, an excellent campsite, great service and a place we’ll definitely return to.
