This perfectly equipped campsite is located in the Hondsrug area in the province of Drenthe, nearby Klijndijk and Odoorn villages. There is a zoo (Wildlands Adventure) situated about 5 km away, in Emmen. Plenty of sights (nature and culture) in direct surroundings.

    Travelling party: Couple

    Very large campsite but the layout made it feel comfortable and friendly. Toilet and shower facilities very good. The large pool was excellent with a sliding roof open in hot weather. Numerous organised children's activities. Cycling from the site excellent. Emmen is an interesting town. Mensenpark, easily missed, is worth a visit. It is the old zoo, now a place for artists. Excellent value with ACSI in low season.
