A campsite with plenty of facilities and good catering in the middle of the woods of Dwingelderveld National Park. The Park covers an area of more than 3700 hectares. The heathlands are the most beautiful and best preserved wetlands in Europe. A large flock of sheep contributes to nature conservation.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Een goede en leuke camping voor jong en oud. De camping zelf heeft geen zwembad, maar op 5 minuten fietsen is er een gemeentelijk zwembad dat erg goed verzorgd is. De kleine douchegebouwen zien en voelen erg oud aan. De wc\'s zitten vaak onder de vogeluitwerpselen en \'s avonds nesten ze zich hier. De plekken zijn over het algemeen groot genoeg en je kan je caravan op meerdere manieren neerzetten. Op de meeste veldjes is er een zandbak of speeltoestel. Al met al een ruime 7.

Samen met mijn gezin (man, vrouw, 2 kinderen) een voorjaarsseizoen plek gehad. Het sanitair is over het algemeen prima, beetje simpel, maar goed werkend. Personeel van de camping is prima, als ze je kunnen helpen doen ze het graag. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is redelijk/prima, Niet te duur, maar ook zeker niet goedkoop. Kindvriendelijkheid/entertainment is helemaal goed geregeld, De animatie heeft genoeg activiteiten en er is genoeg te doen, De indoor speelhal is relatief simpel. Het park beschikt over een paar sportfaciliteiten. Zwembad is onverwarmd, oftewel te koud voor kleine kinderen, verder is het leuk voor kinderen, er zijn wat leuke toestellen in het zwembad om de kinderen bezig te houden. Eten & drinken is prima, camping heeft een restaurant en een snackbar. De omgeving is prachtig! Vergeet ook niet om je fiets mee te nemen, De natuur is heel mooi, genoeg fietspaden/wegen om mooie plekken te ontdekken. Vanaf de camping kan je op de fiets stappen om in het dorpje naar de winkel te gaan en een heerlijk ijsje te halen samen met je gezig

Een prachtige camping met een rustige sfeer terwijl het op het plein in het midden altijd gezellig is.Bij het restaurant kun je voor normaal geld heerlijk eten en sochtends lekkere broodjes halen.De ligging is prachtig, dicht bij het leuke centrum en nog dichter bij de mooie natuurgebieden. Veel mooie mtb routes in de omgeving die goed te fietsen zijn vanaf de camping. Om met de gravelbike kun je er prachtige routes maken door alle natuurgebieden. Recreatief fietsen is hierdoor ook erg mooi en veel leuke, gezellige dorpjes en horeca in de omgeving. Mooie wandelroutes in de buurt, zelfs direct vanaf de camping. Als je van natuur houd en van mooie, oude Drenthse dorpjes dan zit je hier goed.
