Travelling party: Couple

We visited during the May holidays when ACSI did not apply, so it was very expensive. The site had only 2 or 3 pitches occupied. Showers were an extra euros plus deposit for a key to operate the hot water. Water for the van was an extra euros. The toilets were kept clean. We would not use this site again. The chateau in Vianden was excellent and made the detour very worthwhile.

Travelling party: Couple

Not sure how this campsite has ever passed an ACSI inspection. The pitch was the only good experience, next to the stream. The facilities were basic or non-existent. The toilet/shower block had no toilet paper, no hot water (not even hot taps!), and no hand drying facility. The showers needed a dongle for which you needed to lodge a deposit at the reception. Remembering that we were on an ACSI rate they added some complementary shower time for us! Gee thanks! When I asked where I could get water for the motorhome, the response was like the question had never been asked before.....and in the end we were directed to the hand basins for washing up....!!!! We never did find any washing machines that were listed in the amenities.
