Travelling party: Seniors

This is a very pleasant site in a clearing between trees beside a small stream with excellent toilet and shower facilities and an on site bar and restaurant serving simple but high standard food. There is no expectation that you will stay another night but the staff are very pleasant and helpful, although the owner has an acquired taste in humour. We thought he was funny but others may not. There is road noise and you can't help but notice the N6 towering 100ft above reception but it's not as bad as you'd think. If you're a light sleeper you'll need ear plugs but otherwise you'll just be able to filter it out. Don't ask for local information as there is none and if you want to explore Luxembourg choose somewhere else, but as a stopover it's just about perfect.

Travelling party: Seniors

Very convenient if travelling on motorway, but although motorway virtually across over the site the noise is not too intrusive. Some lovely walks through woodland with stream accessible from site. Shops and fuel (very reasonably priced) nearby. Friendly cheerful welcome. Facilities could do with a little tlc.

Travelling party: Seniors

This is a very lovely site near the motorway and next to a river. There is nothing around so it is used as an overnight stop, but a very quiet and peaceful one it was too.

This site is convenient for the motorway and Luxembourg. Pretty place by a river. Some motorway noise.

Ideal 1st stopover site from Chanel ports, flat long pitches so can stay hitched up. Luxembourg an easy visit

We email for a reservation and received no reply, turned up today with an eight meter outfit to be told they were full and although it stated they accepted over size units, and twin axle were met with nonchalance and the owner gave no answer. Asked if anywhere else local she walked away. Had to turn round in a narrow area and then negotiate the steep lane back out, luckily four wheel drive helped. Have actually now found a superb site 10 miles away with easy access and helpful, friendly staff and we don't feel like cattle!

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Arrived at lunchtime and were told we could choose a pitch before the rush came in later that day. We picked a pitch under a tree about halfway down, and were very pleased with it. Then we were confronted with a rude man who circled up to our caravan door. He did not introduce himself and told us we should have got a better pitch and should have moved further down. We were very confused until we realised he was the owner; we were told by the younger man we could go anywhere. Throughout our evening he kept coming up to us when we were eating dinner and saying "look at what you could have had". It did not make sense because every pitch was the same size, even as the site was beginning to get busier and he packed people in tightly. Amount of space was ridiculous, as many people were stop offs and there were too many people allowed in. Apart from this, lovely clean sanitary facilities and pretty stream next to our pitch. Easy access to supermarket and Luxembourg centre is 10 minutes from campsite. Did not try the restaurant or bar but it looked very busy; some people on the campsite told us they waited 2 hours to be served. Would not recommend to stay on the site any longer than one night.

Comfortable distance from Channel to a very useful and comfortable night halt on route to eastern France. Always refuel in Luxembourg.
