Op basis van de lovende kritieken hier op 5/9/21 aangekomen. 1ste (18) aangewezen (alleen ACSI plekken..) plek was een modderpoel en 2de (102) plek was nauwelijks beter. Van enige privacy (hoge heg) was geen sprake, het restaurant was gesloten (17.30 uur), luxe zwemparadijs ging al dicht, “nieuwe sani gebouw was gesloten. Wat een aanfluiting. Na 1 nacht gauw weer vertrokken.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Begin september een 8-tal nachten doorgebracht op deze camping met ons gezin. Om positief te beginnen:
De kinderanimatie was heel goed geregeld. De meiden deden heel erg hun best. Ook het personeel was vriendelijk en de omgeving is erg mooi.
Verder heeft de camping toch wel onderhoud nodig om aan hun eigen geclaimde 5-sterren te voldoen. De wegen zijn slecht en vol gaten, WCbrillen zitten los, WC\'s spoelen niet door, douchekranen waar knoppen vanaf zijn en die met tie-wraps rondom de druk knop ombonden waren om ze meer dan 3 seconden aan te laten staan. Glijbanen waar mos op groeit, zwembadkoepel die roestig is, zwembadtrapjes die loszaten. koud water in het binnenbad (op zonnecollectoren), ijswater in het buitenbad. Speeltoestel bij het zwembad mag wel vervangen worden, daar vallen de gaten in. Wachtrij in het laagseizoen bij de broodjes (hoe is dit in het hoogseizoen?). Geen snackbar open, geen restaurant buiten open, geen ijsjes op de camping verkrijgbaar. Schijnbaar vanwege personeelstekort. Veel lawaai. 2 nachten tot 2 uur lawaai gehad van schreeuwende en lachende dronken mensen, 1 nacht tot 3.30u muziek en geschreeuw, waar niets aan werd gedaan. Wij waren met een tent en konden weinig goede rechte plekken vinden. Ik heb nog nooit zo veel afschot gezien in de kampeerplaatsen. Op een meter of 7 was dit zo 30cm Je staat als kampeerder veelal letterlijk tussen huurtenten en chalets. Slechts +-10% is kampeerplaats. Ben je opzoek naar een echte camping met dat gevoel dan zou ik deze echt overslaan. Dat doen wij in ieder geval wel.

Wij hebben 4 nachten op een super plus staanplaats doorgebracht. Wij stonden op een plaats met ACSI kaart. Je moet inderdaad vooruit betalen wat bij inchecken verteld werd. Wij vonden het een fijne camping, mede door de mooie zwembaden. Een minpuntje was wel dat verspreid over de camping Oost-Europese arbeidsmigranten waren ondergebracht in de mobilhomes. Na werktijd tot een uur of 11 zijn zij duidelijk hoorbaar aanwezig op de camping, om om half 8 \'s morgens weer te vertrekken. Het sanitairgebouw ziet er geweldig uit en wordt goed schoon gemaakt, helaas hing er geregeld een vieze stank (een droge sifon?). Ook was er misschien vanwege corona maar één sanitair gebouw geopend en waren de douches om en om geopend.

Mooie goed verzorgde camping. Het zwembad was nog niet verbouwd maar dit is in 2019 wel het geval. Prima faciliteiten, alles werd goed onderhouden. Mooie omgeving.

Grote camping met speciale ACSI-plaatsen. Bij aankomst werd op de plattegrond aangegeven welke vrij te kiezen plaatsen beschikbaar waren. Nadat de keuze was gemaakt begon het administratieve deel: men wilde wel erg veel weten tot het e-mailadres aan toe. Daarna moest er vooruit betaald worden! Het gekke is dat eenmaal vooruit betaald staangeld niet kon worden gerestitueerd. Dus na vijf dagen weer verlengd, met weer opnieuw dezelfde administratieve rompslomp. Naast diverse pdf-files met bevestiging van hetgeen werd betaald krijg je via e-mail ook bericht met de tekst “Welkom thuis” terwijl je nog op de camping staat. (Daar is dat e-mailadres dus voor!) Wat een pruts programma! Daarna naar de gekozen plaats, waar blijkt dat het gratis WiFi-signaal dusdanig zwak is dat je er nog geen e-mailtje uit kunt krijgen. Kan alleen in de omgeving van bijvoorbeeld de receptie (sterk signaal). De receptioniste had bij aankomst toch wel even kunnen zeggen dat in een gebied van zo’n 100 meter aan weerszijden van de gekozen plaats het signaal uiterst zwak was? Dan hadden we een andere plaats gekozen.
Het sanitair wordt goed schoon gehouden maar er is achterstallig onderhoud: bijna alle WC-brillen zitten los. De thermostaatkranen laten met de drukknop hooguit 6 seconden water op je neer. Wat een ellende. Geen wonder dat er door de gebruikers kabelbinders over de drukknop worden aangebracht om een continue straal te krijgen. Bij veel kranen valt de temperatuur niet of nauwelijks te regelen.
De elektriciteitsblokken staan nogal merkwaardig opgesteld: je moet over diverse staanplaatsen om er bij te kunnen. Een lengte van 25 meter is niet ongewoon.
Het restaurant levert prima kwaliteit evenals de winkel (brood/broodjes).
Als deze camping dat vooruit betalen zou afschaffen en aan zou geven waar beslist geen WiFi-dekking is, komt dat de kampeerder ten goede en wordt er klantgericht gedacht. Zoals het nu gaat is het systeem enkel ten dienste van het Iris Parc.
