Stayed here 2 nights in May. Reception was closed for two days and only opened the morning we were leaving. A gentleman who seemed to have a permanent pitch told us just to pick a plot and pitch up. Lots of static owners on site but all friendly. Bar opened a couple of hours one one of the days we were there, 4-6pm otherwise everything was closed. Good pitch and good showers. Ideally located for a 20min walk along the river to local very old village, Esch-sauer.
We had a pitch right by the river. Pitches are nice and private, marked by hedges. Lovely and quiet, but there is a bar area.
Toilet facilities are fantastic, spotless and genuinely retro. I hope they don\'t change. Staff very laid back and helpful.
Good welcome.Reception closed 1-3. WiFi poor
Bar open randomly but was September so out of season.
Long walk to shower if at far end of site.Well kept grounds.
Sunny pitches near bar cafe
Showers and toilets tired but adequate. Near interesting village.
Quirky campsite with a lot of static caravans that appear to be permanent or semi permanent. Toilet block clean but older. However lovely pitches along the river which in Autumn unfortunately loose sun early afternoon but pitches closer to road will retain sun for longer. The village is lovely with a ruin on top but no shops although several hotels and restaurants. Good walks from campsite but given it is in a valley means hills !
The site was lovely, right by the river, staff very friendly and helpful, 15 minute walk to local town, will use this site again.
Lovely campsite with great surroundings. Toilets and showers very very clean although there was an awful smell in the shower block from the drains. Great little village with some great restaurants and bars. Would definately stay here again.
Sheltered in bad weather. Campsite deep in a Gorge still benefits from day and evening sunshine. Quiet. River runs by some of the pitches. Short walk into the village from site. Clean toilet facilities, good wifi and friendly owner who can speak English, well worth a visit.
