Last year we were here in June and the swimming pool was a week away from opening! Pool is superb- tiling very stylish and the bush / tree planting will in time make this even better! Lake views fabulous but water not very appealing as it was low and quite a few dead fish. Very friendly and great places out of the campsite for dog walks. One of our favourite sites! Wednesday is market day.

Great campsite and lake we will be back. Owner speaks good English and is very sociable and helpful. Our fridge packed up and he contacted 2 chaps who arrived within 30 minutes and fixed it! Visit the palazzio- you get 10% off lunch of diner at one of the restaurants with a business card from reception. They were building a swimming pool - looks great but hope this does not spoil the site as the lake is one of the best for swimming!

é la seconda volta che soggiorno al campeggio Listro, ed anche questa volta che ho utilizzato la campingcard mi sono trovato bene. Il campeggio è a gestione familiare ed i proprietari sono sempre cortesi e disponibili. Non c'è l'animazione o altre amenità, ma mi piace proprio per la tranquillità. é disponibile una spiaggetta (parte sabbia, parte erba) direttamente sul lago Trasimeno, l'acqua è molto bassa ed è adatta anche ai bambini, inoltre appena fuori dal cancello partono piste ciclabili e sentieri per mtb. Il centro storico di Castiglione del lago è raggiungibile dal lungolago tranquillamente a piedi, inoltre varie cittadine di interesse turistico sono raggiungibili con pochi km di viaggio in automobile; sono presenti un paio di supermercati a poche centinaia di metri dal campeggio, e sul lungolago e nel centro storico sono presenti bar locali e ristoranti.
I bagni sono stati rimodernati da poco e sono sempre puliti, è disponibile anche un paio di turche, l'acqua calda è compresa nel prezzo.
Le piazzole sono ombreggiate e spaziose, e ne sono disponibili anche alcune fronte lago.
I prezzi sono abbordabili anche senza sconti

The situation of the campsite is good as it is on a small area of beach and within walking distance of the town. The toilet/shower blocks range from very very basic in the area to the right entering the campsite, to old and tatty in the first block with water that did not drain well and resulted in a flooded cubicle and emerging from the drain in the entrance between the men/women areas. We also checked the third, newer block which appeared to have no shower curtains at all so not sure how people keep their clothing/towel dry. No hot water for washing up. There also seemed to be a large building on the walk into town on the sea front which housed dogs which barked constantly. I am surprised the local authority has allowed this as it is very intrusive and could be heard from the campsite which is several hundred metres up the road.
