Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

This is undoubtedly the best campsite we have found in Italy. It is well organised, staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. We paid extra for a comfort pitch but were impressed by the normal pitches. The pitches were demarcated by hedges and most had good shade. The shower block is modern, spacious and clean with plenty of hot water. The pool is excellent and very clean. The shop had most necessities, the bar & pizzaria were good quality, the restaurant (Robin hood) on the sister site is excellent. The WiFi was cheap but very patchy. Thoroughly recommend this site.

This is a big site, a very lovely site and very good value for money with the ACSI card. The staff are brilliant, the pitches offer welcome shade. Free wifi near office but very reasonably priced for wifi at your pitch. My two complaints are lack of loo roll and inconsistent supply of hot water in showers.

A big site, especially when combined with the adjoining residence ‘la casetta’. The staff speak good English and are friendly and helpful. There are pitches on 2 main levels although most on the first level are terraced. The higher level is given over to larger ‘comfort’ pitches with a supplement. Many of the pitches on the lower level slope slightly, but easily corrected with chocks. Pitches on the upper terrace appear to be level and more private. Most pitches have plenty of shade and easy access to EHU and water tap. There are plenty of facilities on site e.g. shop for essentials, pizzeria, kids playground, swimming pool and 4 toilet blocks. Deck chairs rather than loungers are provided in the pool areas. The sanitary/washing blocks are modern and clean although the water temperature in the showers we used (block 1) was barely hot enough. Free WiFi hotspot at reception or €2,50 for 10 hours use (multiple devices) which was fast, reliable and very good value compared to many sites. This wouldn’t be my ideal campsite in high season, but during the low season it’s quiet and relaxed - good value at the ACSI rate.

This really is a wonderful site, to echo a previous review, easily the best site we have ever been to. The staff are friendly, helpful, speak every language they could need to. The pitches are clean with plenty of manoeuvring space, the entire site is brilliantly laid out. The toilets are as clean as my own at home. Showers were hot and no push buttons. There are two pools, a bar, a pizzeria which was amazing & great value for money. We will definitely visit again especially as we were here over Easter and were invited to a traditional Tuscan celebration with bean stew, red wine & Easter cakes and Easter eggs. Everyone was made very welcome.

Beautiful site, well positioned for many visits to local towns and cities, facilities excellent. One disappointment was Tuscan feast offered by on-site restaurant Robin Hood, a good choice of name for lack of vfm. Local village Casale Marittimo offers better vfm at several restaurants, including the excellent family run restaurant Le Volte, where I had the best steak I have ever eaten in my life, equalled only on my second visit.

Excellent site in to good location for both the beaches, countryside and towns of Tuscany.
Staff are really helpful and speak great English. Pitches are of a good size and there is a choice of sunny or shaded. Sanitary blocks are excellent and very clean (no loo paper).
We visited in mid May and this was the first site on our trip to have the restaurant open, well stocked shop and a pool in action. It felt great to be on a site where it was 'happening'. This is a large site with three pools and I think in peak season it would certainly feel very lively.
Unfortunately, during our stay there was an issue at home meaning my wife had to fly back. I therefore had to stay here for longer than planned, but I couldn't have been 'stuck' on a better site. Again, the staff were very helpful and couldn't have done more to assist.

Very good site with beautiful toilets etc on the upper level, only drawback was the lack of toilet paper.
We had a hard-standing, serviced pitch enclosed by hedges. With a large van a few of the pitches could be a little tricky to access as the roadways are fairly narrow. Lovely views. Only 6 amp electricity.
Credit cards not accepted. Excellent value with ACSI card. Reception closed 13.00 to 15.00.
