Travelling party: Couple

We primarily used it as a base to visit Florence by train. Having a car and caravan, we drove the few minutes to the station, but the campsite did offer a minibus which some campers used. Pleasant site with a happy guy who sang as he cleaned the spotless loos. Pool was open, even this late in the season, (late September, the ACSI app won\'t let me change the date) thought we didn\'t use it or the bar.

Travelling party: Couple

Set on a steep hillside surrounded by trees the site is well laid out. Most pitches are fairly level but there is no indication which are large or small. Our first attempt to pitch we couldn’t see a water tap so we moved to the lower level. Very little sun on the pitches due to being in the trees.
The restaurant was recommended to us and we have to agree.. the food is excellent! One is the best meals we’ve eaten so far in Italy.
The site will run you to the station to get the train to Florence and your phone to let them know which return train you will be in, they’re waiting to collect you.
On the down side is the steep hills! For an old lady with asthma I had to stop a few times to get back to our Motorhome whenever we went down to the pool/reception/ shuttle etc. Everything else is fantastic and we would gladly come again.

Travelling party: Couple

Excellent campsite for those wishing to visit Florence. Shuttle bus will take you from site to train station and come back for you once you inform them what time train you are catching back. 35 minute train journey. Excellent restaurant which you should book as locals use as well. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Petrol, diesel station just nearby. Bit of a hill from reception to pitches but well manageable. Popular with hill walkers. Highly recommend this site.
