Prices might be on the high side, but it is the peace and tranquility that you have.
This year there was no food available at lunch or dinner times as the lady who used to cook the food has returned to the UK.
Toilets well cleaned each day.
The pool is getting tired and water quality was not good, partially due to people not showering before going in. The use of inflatable toys intrudes on users of the pool due to its size.
Some tents place their guylines and pegs far to close to pathways. Consideration should be given to planting small hedges where a pitch is by a path or stairways (photos of example are available).

Stayed 2 nights not many sites in rural Tuscany. Beautiful surroundings close to Florence and San Gimignano both lovely.Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so site quiet muddy. Little bar restaurant does good pizza and staff very friendly. Definitely worth staying . Facilities good with plenty of hot water and clean wash rooms

I am not sure where the others reviewers stayed but it can't have been in this site! The pitches are terrible, virtually hard standing and on top of each other, there is hardly any view as there are people pitched in front of you. The washing machines are in the toilets and there is no dry area to change when you shower, and the way the area is orientated the only place to dry and get changed puts you on show for all to see when walking past to the men's as there is no main door! Oh and make sure you take toilet paper as there is none of that either. Added to this is the high price, I know things are expensive in Italy but that price for one night on the driest scraggiest piece of ground is extortionate. We were lucky, only a small van but a bigger one would cost more and be very difficult to park and also to leave. The roads are terrible too, very windy and steep, San gimignano, Florence and Siena are not too far away but it will take you a while to get there.

Awesome place very nice staff and great restaurants nearby! Calm quite and beautiful surrundings. Great wine tasting and hiking trips.

A beautiful location with a well-maintained site. Staff were extremely helpful making for a very enjoyable stay. The terracing of the pitches helps create a feeling of space.

A truly beautiful site near a delightful town Marcialla and easy to get the train from Certaldo to Florence. The girls on reception were extremely helpful and the ready meals were lovely. Struggled to get the adaptor into the plugs in the showers but a minor problem. Could see large mobile homes struggling to get up and down the steep hill to the pitches.

Travelling party: Seniors

This site can only be described as rustic and rural which came as a shock after other more luxurious sites further south. Having said that staff were very pleasant and the toilets clean as were the showers. The main problem with this site is the access the pitches are on terraces with a few offering views across the valley do not even think of leaving the site other than from the track you entered the site on the track at the southern end of the site is so steep that one of the enjoyments of the day was watching people trying to drive up it leaving tyre tracks on the road and damage to their clutches. A further word of warning is that some of the roads nearby getting to the site are rather tight so be careful. For those that want to get away from it all this is the site for you and Florence and Sienna are quite close, for me a couple of days was enough
