At Campsite Solcio in Solcio (Novara) camping costs as little as €20,- per night during low season with CampingCard ACSI. At one of the 150 touring pitches you will get a discounted rate during the period 12-03-2021 - 04-07-2021 and 23-08-2021 - 23-10-2021. Peaceful campsite with good amenities within walking distance of the small church at Solcio, situated right on Lake Maggiore. The restaurant is of very good quality.

Got a front lake side pitch. CCA-price. Quiet peaceful site. Loved the pitch looking out to the lake. Restaurant busy and very good - needed to book Sat night. 2 other restaurants walk down main road. Supermarket too. Lesa has a few restaurants and bars, too far to walk. We cycled and to Stresa. Quiet residential area. Lovely beach area with sun beds.

We spent 3 nights on this relatively small site. The toilet and shower facilities were lovely. The shower cubicles even had small sinks. Staff were both friendly and helpful. We didn\'t try the restaurant so couldn\'t comment on the food. The small supermarket just outside the site was very convenient for bread although Sunday\'s wasn\'t fresh. We found it a little challenging walking from the campsite with our dog as the main road was quite busy, but enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a pitch by the lake with beautiful views. It was really lovely despite 2 thunderstorms at night and an untimely 'invasion' of mosquitoes! We used the restaurant and the food was superb. There is a small supermarket within about 50 yds of the site and a bus stop nearby to take you to neighbouring towns. As has already been said trips from here can be arranged to nearby islands.

Our favourite site in the whole of Europe. There are buses to Stresa and other towns with boats from Stresa to beautiful islands. Restaurant is excellent. We did not chose the lakeside row that is more expensive and has slightly smaller pitches but arrived early and had a site in the second row overlooking lake. Stayed 3 nights.
