Travelling party: Seniors

Nice quiet campsite with a private lakeside beach which had sun loungers. The pitches along waters edge were not available on ACSI discount, however we thought these were also too close together. We had a nice pitch a little further back. There is a small on-site shop with a limited range (although plenty of wine) and an on-site Pizza restaurant. There is a supermarket about a mile from site for a more comprehensive requirement.

The toilet amenities were nice and clean although only cold water available for dish washing.

The site is within walking distance of the town (village) Leda (probably about 3 miles) which has a railway station. There are also buses running in the area. Other than this the walking options are limited and the roads aren’t great for novice cyclists (like us).

Sehr schöner kleiner Campingplatz mit sehr netten Personal und einem spitzen Restaurant.
Sanitär immer sehr sauber und es wird das Gelände jeden Tag durch Mitarbeiter gereinigt.
Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Very nice & clean place, amazing setup, very friendly staff, shower & toilets super clean. Also small market and restaurant just in the place. We had two small (superfriendly) dogs and there are some more down there (no problem). The only drawback is weak hookup fuses (just 6A), otherwise would deserve 5*.

Sehr schöner Campingplatz direkt am Lago Maggiore. Von hier aus kann man Ausflüge zu Fuß und vor allem mit dem Fahrrad unternehmen: Aronoa, Stresa, Bergwanderungen, ...
Das Team des Campingplatzes ist leider mit dem Ansturm überfordert. Wir haben den \"falschen\" Platz bekommen und mussten nochmals umziehen, d.h. Vorzelt abbauen, alles verstauen und nochmals aufbauen. Es wurde sehr unfreundlich kommuniziert.
Ansonsten alles gut, vor allem sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen.

Got a front lake side pitch. CCA-price. Quiet peaceful site. Loved the pitch looking out to the lake. Restaurant busy and very good - needed to book Sat night. 2 other restaurants walk down main road. Supermarket too. Lesa has a few restaurants and bars, too far to walk. We cycled and to Stresa. Quiet residential area. Lovely beach area with sun beds.
