Campsite Smeraldo is a campsite with 35 touring pitches and 120 year round pitches. During low season, between 01-03-2019 - 19-04-2019, 23-04-2019 - 15-06-2019 and 24-08-2019 - 30-10-2019, the nightly rate is €20,- at one of the 35 touring pitches at Campsite Smeraldo in Dormelletto (Novara).
Located in green surroundings with plenty of shade. Pleasant bar, restaurant and pizzeria. Attractive swimming pool. Boat ramp and possibility for all water sports on Lake Maggiore.

Travelling party: Couple
We arrived on an national holiday and site was very busy. Staff were excellent, reception staff all spoke English and we were asked if we needed our caravan towing into place with a tractor which we declined. We were taken to our pitch, through rows of permanent pitches nearest to the lake and were shown how to park the caravan and told to move our car to the carpark if more tourers arrived. Fortunately for us the site nearly emptied by evening and we had a peaceful stay. There are no marked out pitches, motorhomes arrived and were parked around us so we moved our car, they are trying to put too many vans in too small an area, but this is typical of the Italian lakes. The easy access to the motorway and local towns was great. Beautiful lakes and mountains sites.
