what can I say but thank you to the wonderful host. lovely setting with walks and cycling. water hot but facilities rustic but clean. The host is very welcoming and opens the bar for Aperol in the evening for community spirit. Thank you German ladies for including us. She arranged a takeaway Pizza as we couldn’t leave the puppy and made great coffee in the morning. Thoroughly recommend for the ambiance. There is a mountain stream dip for those braver than us

Wonderful friendly and helpful owners (we had a smashed caravan window - hit by a motorhome that was over the white line - and they phoned around repair places to try to get a replacement. There was none available, so they gave us a can of builders foam adhesive to make a temporary repair. Scenic view of a castle and its village (lit at night) above the campsite. Lots of good walking in the area. The family also own the restaurant at the top of the nearby cable car, which was still operating at week ends in October. We ended up staying longer than we had planned. No idea about child friendliness or swimming (in the river) as neither applied to us, but the ACSI app insists on ranking 5 features, so have given them 5

We found this peaceful campsite during our travels through Italy. Although our stay was at the very end of season we were delighted with the well tended site. The cable car and tourist bus had finished for the season but the very kind owners drove us up to Monte Catrio. Nothing was too much trouble. Local shops with local produce, excellent cycling and walking. Best site of our 6 weeks in Italy

Fantastic well kept & peaceful campsite
Owners incredibly friendly & helpful -even put washing inside when it rained!
Town 1 minute away has everything you need. E-bikes available at campsite & the site is located on the Alte Marche Apennine bike route
Would definitely recommend & make a detour to stay here again

Lovely family run campsite in the mountain area. So helpful and friendly. Speak good English too! The town has everything you need. Good size pitches. Take the cable car to the top of Monte Catria and have a great meal in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Great campsite, a quiet little oasis in the mountains. Very friendly owners. The little town is just a stones throw away and has everything you need. Stream just outside the gate for cold water swimming too!

This site has just been added to ACSI this year. A little rustic gem in the mountains of Umbria. Skiing in the winter, hiking, cycling and cold water swimming in the 3m deep stream two steps outside the campsite. Owners are incredibly friendly as is the little town which is just a few steps away. Two bars, two pizzerias, two supermarkets, one restaurant, a bank with an ATM and lots of peace and quiet. Only downside
is lack of good WiFi but the
wine/coffee bar 5 minutes away had excellent connectivity.
