Travelling party: Seniors

On arrival we were invited to have a drink of coffee or a glass of wine before pitching, this was a first and set the tone for our time there. It is a family run site and Luca makes you feel part of the family, and I can say we have never felt so warmly welcomed at any other site, so we extended our stay by another tow days. Luca put on an (Italian) Mothers Day party and on another day a wine tasting event. The site has views to die for, comparable with the other Italian Lakes.
I recommend this site and am sure you will come away feeling good about your visit

The attraction of this site apart from the scenery is friendliness of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Original pitch was in too much shade and not to our liking however when a better pitch became available the staff moved the caravan by hand for me just telling me to watch and relax. The pitches are larger than normally found in Italy and you are not packed like sardines. Not a site for youngsters with little for them to do which has led to the site being used almost completely by seniors. Good restaurant and bar with views of the lake. Two things make this not the completely superb site and that is cars are parked away from caravans in a private car park and secondly 6 trains a day pass alongside the site, the first being quite early. None of this will distract us from returning however I recommend booking as it was full in June

Small and very friendly site, excellent views across the lake, our pitch was right on the lake. Slightly sloping site, requires level chocks, good toilet facilities and showers, motorhome point. We would revisit this site. Easy to walk into Iseo which was a lovely place.

Right on the banks of Lake Iseo and close to the beautiful town of Iseo. This site is brilliant.
It has gorgeous views across the lake and a great atmosphere. The restaurant is one of the best camp-site restaurants I have ever used.
There is a cycle track all the way into Iseo, which is great if you are a erham... cyclist.
I would definitely use this one again. It is quite small so best to pre-book in high-season.

The friendliest campsite we have ever been too. Welcome drink on arrival and very attentive when taking to pitch. Restaurant good value. Site is located on the outskirts of the town, 10 minutes walking distance but good position on Lake Iseo. Down side - train line by side of site but only up to 6 trains a day so not a real problem and the entrance to the site is a little tight for large vans who are towing.

Beautiful, peaceful site on the edge of Lake Iseo. The staff especially Luca make you very welcome and work hard to please their guests. We even got a welcome drink on arrival. We had been travelling in our motorhome in France, Switzerland, Italy for 2 months and this was a first.

Toilet and shower facilities are good and there are a mix of sit and squat toilets. Toilet roll is supplied and there is plenty hot water.

Good bar and restaurant and not too expensive. A small shop selling basics and a good selection of fresh bread and rolls every morning.

Pitches vary in size. Our one was large and in the 2nd line. The lake side setting is superb. There are pedaloes to rent at a very cheap price. Good swimming in the lake. Swimming shoes a benefit as very stony.

Good WiFi and it is free. Iseo is a pleasant 15 minute walk away.

One negative, there is only one washing machine and drier.

We thoroughly enjoyed this camp site and will return for sure. Thanks Luca and staff for everything!!

Chose this site at the last minute and what a gem it is. A really family run friendly site whose owners spoke excellent English and gave us a welcome drink on arrival. Entrance is across a railway line and quite tight for a large motor home but glad we made it. Wonderful location right by the lakeside, you can swim in the lake but it is very stony (water shoes advised). You will hear the bells clanging on the gates when a train is coming but the noise didn't bother us. Pitches quite close together (as seem most ASCI sites) and wifi good and free. Toilets (they have seats and also some of the Italian squats) and showers were very clean. The Saturday we arrived was a get together evening with a free meal from the restaurant of local Italian dishes (most of the campsite attended) followed by singing and dancing - great evening. Had meal in restaurant on Sunday - superb and very good prices.
Site very popular and became full on the Sunday (mid June) so may be advisable to book.

A lovely little campsite which was nice and quiet in October. We had a wonderful pitch right on the lakeside - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. The toilet facilities are excellent, the staff friendly. There is a tiny shop and a variety of fresh bread daily, but there are supermarkets in the nearby town of Iseo.
A railway line runs behind the site but the trains are small, local ones, not very frequent, and daytime only, so not a problem.
The restaurant serves basic Italian food at reasonable prices. Wifi is free throughout the site.

From Iseo you can get a ferry to other towns around the lake, or to the large island, Monte Isola.
